Food works...I do live in Foodie Central here in Vegas (I do like that little tid bit about living here.) Something like 250+ sushi resturants. I pretty sure if there is a cuisine out there you can find it here.

I’ve had very good beer of many varieties both in Europe and in the US. We have had quite a few good ones spring up over here in the last 15 years or so with the microbreweries and so forth. And we can get a fair number of tasty imports on draught in good pubs. My local stopped stocking Boddington’s, to my disappointment, but still has Old Speckled Hen.

The Belgians make some very good beers, as do the Germans and Czechs.

The unique (as far as I know) contribution of British brewing culture to the world is bitter beer and variations such as mild, stout and porter.

I'm not certain how this yellow water relates to the distilled awesome that is rum or the lesser awesome of tequila. I thought we were discussing booze here.
