ok this is quite an exiting prospect, as the dark eldar have NEVER had a proper update,but from what i've heard, they will be soon.
apparently the update is due in the next 2 years and EVERY SINGLE MODEL (yes you read that right) will be changed. thats a lot of models. also, the rules will be getting a complete makover- the only thing, in fact, that will survive this update is what the dark eldar are and their background. now if you're like me then this will be quite exiting, so if anybody has any other info on this update then please post something!!!

Nah, I have it on reliable authority the next 3 armies are Lost and the Damned, Genestealer Cults and Adeptus Arbites.

Sensei will also get a codex but it will be WD only.

Don't let those guys pull your leg too long bottbott. The earliest we'll see an update for DE is the end of 2009. The only thing definate is DE are in process of being updated. IG is evidently in the pipe atm and is due 1st quarter I think..I have no idea about anything else tbh.

From rumours i've read, IG are early May. Then it's space wolves, then either necrons or dark eldar around christmas time.

We do get that sensation but I'm not sure why.

Necrons - We have new rules details, but no models being worked on that we know of.

DE - We have models being worked on, but no new rules details. (though supposedly they've been working on the new rules for a couple years now.)

(Space Wolves I personally think they should do the same as they did with Blood Angels, and their time frame is about here.)
Inquisition-y thing Christmas time (compilation of Daemonhunters, Witchhunters and Alien Hunters)
then NORMAL ELDAR! YES!!! (in early 2010.)

They're not doing a compilation Inquisition. They're re-doing the DH and WH Codices with an emphasis on GKs and SoBs.

And it's a while off. Expecting it this year is silly.

Actually the latest rumors from BoLS puts Imperial Guard in the second quarter of 2009.

It was always rumored to be second quarter, I had read March, but now they are saying May.

Please, fingers crossed, do not Dark Angels us!!!!

Guard were confirmed for May, after Apoc 3 in March.

Dark Eldar? I think we're still waiting for something more concrete and detailed than the "we're working on them".
