And no, he isn't any faster...
Also real ultimate power joke, which makes it funny!

But is he angrier? You didn't answer that Alph...
Also, who's to say that what I said wasn't funny? I found it humorous, or else I wouldn't have posted it And instead of belittling me and my obvious lack of comic knowledge Anung answered my question quite well, I didn't know who the Red Hulk was... I still don't think you can create a comic series after someone that gets angry and breaks things.

Picked up a few of the Marvel now #1 issues, and the current Red She-hulk. Not too bad, might carry on getting Thunderbolts, enjoyed that one in particular, uncanny Avengers #1 was pretty good as well.

1) Huh? The Hulk...
2) Ha! A startling lack of a sense of humor on display, right there!
That right there? That's why I'm putting you back on ignore. You antagonize me at least once a week. I believe the website's rules are to be polite? Idk what I did to you for you to poke and prod with comments like "Back to the Wyrd thread with you!" which is off topic to the thread at hand, and also under handed, but it's pointless and does nothing but serve your ego. Thanks for making me feeling like a contributing member of the website. If you have an issue with me, I have no problem taking this to PMs or having another moderator or higher up help us out, but I'm through putting up with the gak you serve to me on a silver platter.

Anyway, read ASM #700 and I have to admit, I am SHOCKED with how it ended, can't believe they went the direction they did with it, and cannot see any way possible to... well...
Red Hulk goes faster. That took me a sec but funny. Anyway, he's not angrier because he retains his personality when he transforms. He's a smarter, calmer Hulk.
I have bought some Classic Ghost Rider(1970s). I fething hate him, he is so fricking whiny about it and the villain in the first colelction is a bit of a joke. It is pathetic compared to the new Ghost Rider where he to battle Lucifer.

This.
I mean, I saw from the title of another thread in OT how it ended, but I didn't see it going in this particular direction.
I'm also not really sure how I feel about it, what with the fact that Doc Ock is kind of really evil.

I like Doc Ock as a Spidey villian, but more from a visual standpoint than from a story perspective. The movie had a good point, but he never struck me as a moraly complex villian.

My point about him being evil was more to do with the ending of Amazing Spider-Man #700 than to do with the complexity of the character.
*Do not read if you don't want to be spoiled as to the ending*
Spoiler:
Seriously, don't.
Spoiler:
The series ends with Doc Ock having swapped minds with Peter Parker, with his original body being minutes away from death, and so Peter Parker spends the issue trying to get his body back, but ends up forcing his own morality into Doc Ock's mind, so he's now convinced to carry on Spider-Man's legacy, with Parker's mind and Doc Ock's body being dead.
This makes me curious for a couple of reasons:
A) Doc Ock used to be really evil, and only a page or so before his change of heart, attacked Parker's family members, so I find it difficult to believe that he could suddenly become a pillar of goodness so quickly
B) I can't see any way for Parker's consciousness to be resurrected, as even if someone works out that his body has a new mind in, there isn't really a conceivable way of resurrecting a specific mind, then putting it back into a body.
So yeah, that's my 2 cents on the matter from my fairly limited viewpoint of the marvel universe.

WTH? So is the next issue #1 because now it's Doc Ock?
Like I said earlier, the next issue is probably the jump to Marvel Now.
Some have started over with issue numbering, others have stayed the same. I believe this one is starting over with #1 because it's no longer the Amazing Spider-Man, it's now the Superior Spider-Man.
We'll have to see

Issue #700 was the final issue of The Amazing Spider-Man, which will be rebooted in January as The Superior Spider-Man, with Superior referring to the fact that Peter Parker is now a genius due to him having Doc Ock's mind.

Waiting is over, we've already seen - it is Doc Ock as "Peter" and Spider-Man.
For how long is anyone's guess, but I'll say... about a year, if that.

That's the thing, I can't see them staying this way forever, because it just seems a bit off, but I also can't see any way of concievably resurrecting Parker's conciousness.

I don't see this being a long term thing either, but I'm not in the comics marketing business... Though someone did post the cover image of SSM #1 several pages ago, it showed a change in Spidey's costume, namely the removal of the blue and the addition of black.

Please excuse my inexperience with this sort of thing, but I keep on seeing people talk about getting their comics in/from "trades".
What does that mean? Is it just trading comics with people? or Trade shows? or some wierd obscure terminology that most people won't know?

I assume they refer to trade paperbacks: compilations of 6-10 issues in a single book.
