Thanks for all the interest you guys<3 it was a fun project....I also did 3 more badab Sharks I’ll post after the pic of my current project, MANTIS WARRIOR 2019!!!! Remember mantis warrior 2015?? I feel I’ve gained some exp with NMM and since my shiny ultramarine, I’ve decided to practice other colors and the marine is such a great template to work on with such obvious shapes. The first one is bright green. Since I’m a little more confident with the technique, I’ve added the extra step of scratch’s and chipping/battle damage....there’s still a bit to fix/smooth/complete in various areas of the legs before I move to the torso/belt. Hope you like the progress....

That weathering looks great, what color are you using for the dark color under the heaviest chips? I love the effect on the..idk what to call it.. belt buckle?

That green really lends itself to this technique, I think I like it even more than the blue.

Thanks you guys!! Glad you dig it. Well here’s another quick update of what’s going on with the mantis warrior! I’ll upload a couple other angles later but for now this will do I still need to finish the other side of the head really...a lot of wip and tiny clean ups as I move around and forward...
