You know, I can't Search it with any success, but I could have SWORN that one or two of the recently done Space Marine chapters were up on the list. Concievable or crack-pipe? I know it doesn't make any sense, but I thought I saw it somewhere.

Not any time soon. The next Marines are Space Wolves, supposed to be later this year. Last round of rumours I heard were IG, Wolves, and something unknown for this year, with Dark Eldar, Sisters and Grey Knights next year. As with all rumours, anything past IG should be taken with a grain of salt.

That sounds about more like reality.

Stuff 40k, what about Fantasy?

Well from what I've read concerning Fantasy, Skaven seems fairly solid and I think it was Bretonia after that. Though I personally know nothing so feel free to disregard everything I just said.

From currents floating in the rumor mills, sounds like Skaven this summer along with some second wave releases (Empire, Demons, DE). I think we should see Beasts of Chaos this fall to finish up the round of Chaos books. After that, it's anyone's guess. Tomb Kings or Bretts would be my guess.

Whatever happened to the idea of Necrons getting an update? Did they get pushed back?

When i first heard about Skaven been the next Fantasy release, i panicked , i thought omg if they release new skaven clan rats my current one with awful sculpts will be worthless!

Then i remembered i can use them as worthless skaven slaves, so all is well!

I'd rather see Tomb Kings before Bretonnians, mainly due to the gulf left by the latest VC book.

Cheaper Skeletons etc, and just overall far better. Tomb Kings can still win games, but they definitely need a leg up. The 2 Character minimum sucks, especially when one of them is a total wuss!

TK is very rare to see >< as Dark Eldar is ( from my area )

the only thing that kept them semi popular around here , is the easy paint schemes for it : /

Then I can go and finally combine the Land Speeder Storm and the Plastic Storm Troopers to make my Inquisitorial Strike Teams.

Well, they keep saying that Planet Strike will have non-expansion related releases as well. So next to the proposed landing pad and bunker we might also see more plastic daemons and that new daemon prince kit. Maybe even that eldar jetbike.

I hope they just use it to accelerate some of the waves.

Plastic Daemon Prince, Land Speeder Storm, Storm Troopers, Deff Koptas (real ones avail outside of a boxed game) and it'd be awesome if they also released that plastic Thunderhawk that's been spotted.

What else could they release for other armies? Nothing's missing for Tau or Tyranids. The Eldar have every unit and as nice as a new Jetbike would be, didn't Jes say ages ago that although sculpted it would not be put into production for quite some time, if ever. Necrons have everything. Orks need a new Buggy/Trakk, but I don't expect them for a while - probably a third wave along with the metal Flash Gitz that Brimstone so casually and crptically pointed out from a pic at the recent Open Day.

Flash Gitz:

From the open day. A number of greens were posted. One was of an Ork, wearing a bandana, his boss poll was an Orky Skull and Crossbones, with a pirate patch, holding a really huge gun. Brimstone did one of his cheecky 'Wow... look at that. Almost looks like a Flash Git, wouldn't'cha say???' sort of 'telling-you-but-not-telling-you' posts.

I'm guessing that "something else" that Harry hinted at on Warseer is Tyranids. It's probably not another SM release right after SW, and Harry's said it's definitely not Necrons. DE are later too. So that leaves, what...Tyranids and Tau? And now we just saw the pics of the Broodlord WIP at the open day. Could be something for Space Hulk, but I'm betting it's for a new Tyranid codex.

Come on, you know the studio can't wait to put the kibosh on Nidzilla.

As a marketing person, I don't disagree with GW's efforts to keep stuff more under wraps. But it's just silly to show off the miniatures while saying "we can't really talk about them."
