For the first time ever, I want a dreadknight. Your version of them is stunningly good!

One of my favorite parts of this hobby is getting to look at my finished army painted and coated together as a group. With miniatures like that, if you're anything like me, then your having a pretty good time right now. Nice job.

I've found a decent base for it with fire coming up from slate that resembles the other bases I've painted so far.
I'll be highlighting the white areas to look like fire.

And I picked up a finecast techmarine for some grenade shenanigans.

I ended up having to take the techmarines left arm back as well as a few servitor parts.

MajorTom11 - Thanks! No drugs, I've just found that I can put a color down a day at work during lunch, which leads to a nearly finished squad each week. The warhounds are waiting for me to get up enough courage to reprime the nose piece and torso.

Well the other night I was able to get 10 psycannons touched up and based!

Next up for them is decals and backpacks!
I also touched up all of the GKs that needed it from the last month, and moved another batch of GKs to my paint station from work (few final colors and they'll be done), and put a new batch in my to work bin (got the sepia applied today at lunch).

Your quick progress is both inspiring and demoralising!

Whats best though is that you dont sacrifice quality for speed! Keep it up Foda.

Well I've slowly been amassing a collection of Aegis defense lines (minus the autocannons) from people who build hydras or psyrifile dreads. I'll be using them as defense lines in apoc for that fat 3+ cover save (2+ with camo cloak )

Over the last few nights I've been cleaning off the mold lines and sprue chunks.


I've also been painting some more GKs


I got my contemptor dread in the mail, like most people though it was missing its shoulder pads so I'm going to have to wait on building it

That is a lot of walls! Your army is shaping up quite nicely

Now that's a whole lot of barricades ;D can only amagine how fed up you will get by painting them! xD

Too bad about the contemptor.. how long until you can get some new pads?

Well last night I got the barricades and some bases primed!

Some of y'all may remember the 4 dreadnoughts I painted for the 3rd Company earlier. Well I've decided to finish off the entire company (infantry wise).
So last month (while painting GKs) I assembled all of my infantry, all of the jetpacks have brass etch U's and squad numbers.

Don't worry the GKs are not being put on hold. This is just a project to keep me painting while they're drying, like the aegis defence lines were.
Speaking of which, the aegis are done. I'll get some pictures later.

Yeesh. That's some quick work. I guess I've got quite a ways to go in terms of speed (still refinishing half of 1 company over the course of a year or 2 ). I'm just painting 1 or 2 marines here and there and you go and build/ prime an entire company! Well, back to the slow painting table for me, I suppose.

Lord Kaesar II - Thanks! Well the company took about a month to build so it wasn't too fast. Most of the models were second hand so some were 1/2 built.

Last night I was able to get 2 "batches" of marines blue washed.

Lord Kaesar II - I know the feeling. It actually made me start this blog. Staring at all the unpainted horde... in front of the unbuilt horde. Constant remarks from my friends about how they have all their 20,000+ points painted helped too.

For the Ultramarines I got another 1.5 batches done last night!


And on the Grey Knights I got the metals and washes finished on the next to last batch of PA GKs

So many marines....

Now I know what you're thinking, cute John you moved them onto a different shelf, but I assure that all of the black bits where the primer was showing threw are all corrected!
