Apparently dark angels are next month, but I'm thinking its new necron units instead now. It could be both but I doubt it.

I PRAY it's Dark Angels. But at the same time I don't, because I'll spend all of my money on new things for them

I really, REALLY hope they don't change anything too drastically, like having to seperate Ravenwing and Deathwing, so you can only have one or the other. Then I'll have to buy filler units for my army.

It probably will change to differentiate a bit more from normal marines, since dark angels are (IMO) the closest codex to normal marines.

Btw, update on the Alpha Legion. Got a captain to proxy as Pedro, and for it's combi-weapons, and a tactical squad. Sadly, those don't come with powerfists. Yet someone at the store generously gave me one! Just goes to show how nice people can be!

That's great. It took me ages to get a power fist when I first started crimson fists. In fact. I think the powerfist was half the reason I bought my first assault squad.

Ohhh, Crimson fists! Always thought of a Crimson fists army, but I honestly don't want moar marines Luckily, my next squad is half of a Devastator squad, so I get the heavy weapons and a power fist!

I like doing different chapters, so I have all of my scout and assault as raven guard as scouts and pretty much everything else as crimson fists.

Pretty cool idea. I'd consider doing something like that.

I know one person who files off paint and repaints their army whenever a new chapter takes their fancy.

Filing off the paint must be very hard.


Also, battled my friends orks at 1000pts, forgot my scouts. So I was playing with 170pts missing. Still lost though. We're going to try it again, and I'm switching up my list a little. Next time, I'm going against Space Wolves.

What kind of space wolves, shooty or mad crazy close combat ones.
Also, filing off paint isn't that difficult. By the end there usually sin't that much difference to the model from when you first assembled it, though there may be a couple of chips which look like battle damage.

Haven't versed a razorback space wolves army before, so Idon't know what I would use against them. Iv'e only versed Loganwing, shooty space wolves and ork space wolves (in other words space wolves manically charging forwards).
I struggle with normal marine razorback spam. The only thing that seems to work against them for me is either a ton of melta or a ton of lucky plasma cannon blast, neither I usually have an overload of.

Well, I played him twice over the weekend, lost once, but tied him perfectly the first time, and with a completely different list I came up with out of the blue. Here's the modified version, and I'm still fixing it up!

NOTES: I LOVE Rifleman Venerable Dreads now. They shredded his terminators and razors alike. Same with the Vindicators. He can say bye bye to his Grey Hunters! I originally had a MOTF and a Captain in this list too, to try a new HQ. They both did terrible. But, I'm considering a new, shooty Captain for my army. Maybe with a Storm Shield, Storm Bolter, Hellfire rounds, Artificer armor and a few other goodies. Melta's are gonna help more than flamers from what I can see, but I may also continue using the flamer, just in case.

I still need to fill 230pts!

Also, with idea for a shooty captain, I have tried and seen many others try it. A shooty captain does not seem to work.

Aw, that's a shame. I was hoping it'd work, cause I really wanted to throw a Command squad in this army as well.

Unfortunately h.q's don't usually have very shooty options (with a few notable exceptions). I suppose that's why the command squad can be kitted out so shooty to compensate.

Really? That seems like a shame. I'd think a bolter w/ Hellfire rounds would be okay.
