@Graven - I wanted to match his shield on his shoulder guard so split on the diagonal

@Casey - More like a weave

@Nash - Special in the fact they don't have any real coherency, that's about it heh.

@Graven - Yeah I had to come up with a way to break up the sea of red when there is a purity seal on a chest eagle, green seems to have been the best choice

@Nash - Thanks, I took a gamble with it and she's paid off

@Casey - Oooh good idea, what could it represent, 500 years of service? Could lead credence to having a mix of really old armour?

Update: New model has some Grey

Yeh good idea, you could probably go a lot longer on the service time if it's enough for a unit citation on a squad of Grey Knights. That is if I'm remembering my marine fluff well enough. It could also be for a particular victory the squad were part of achieving or for some amazing feat they achieved by themselves. Lots of cool options.

I like the victory idea, like slaying a greater demon or somesuch

Well, banishing... Slaying isn't really the right word for defeating a greater daemon
