Ok, so home for lunch. Let's take a look at what the Forgemaster has accomplished:
A new mold for the fan (along the old one), and two gubbins molds:
With a little cleanup these have the potential for lots of uses.....
Next up (though, admittedly not for the titans) these potential road wheel/track guides:

the new rim on the head looks way better... and the new nose too... always a good idea to check again for quality !
the fan and the giubbins AND the track guides looks very good... and old toys can be a real treasure for such details... after all those lil chineese girls really had an eye for detail...

I play Magic:the Gathering Competitively on Friday nights. It only nets me store credit but with a Warhammer release coming up I think it will be helpful....
I decided that since these Warhounds are broken into three groups of two and since each group had to have it's own design elements to put off building all the heads at once. Saves me from jumping from theme to theme. Instead I am going to finish all but the weapons mounts and weapons for the first two in a Plain Chaos theme for my buddy Prophet. I am thinking that in three or four days these can be completely done in this manner because of the lack of switching back and forth the other method would require.....
I continue on in this stampede with two Chaos warhounds. More to follow this evening....
Automatically Appended Next Post: Ok, so got the second head and the carapace layers done:
The chaos arrows are on the head and they match up with the carapace just like The Khorne Warhound I did before. I like this pattern the most.....
On to getting the heads mounted....

I do indeed keep a stencil. Th cricut doesn't cut them, I do but only because I haven't had time to draw it in the software for the cricut yet. And, yes they will be festooned with riveys. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. MUAHAHAH. HAHAHAHA. MUHAHAHAHAHA....

Thanks Vik, that's encouraging.
I got one head mounted and one carapace done before the wifey made me go to bed.
I feel like there could have been more cabling in there but it will paint up just fine and there wasn't much room depth wise to work with.....
Then it was a matter of fitting the trim to the carapace and the carapace to the main hull.
The engine pods need trim and then go on next....
The head is just blue tacked on so that when Brother Pain gets it he can paint in there fully. I didn't get as far as I wanted but worked out a bunch of bugs in the finer points of latter stage assembly. SO it will go a little faster from here on out hopefully. After these two are done I have two Iron warriors themed ones to stand up for Prophet 40K and then it is back to finishing the Reavers and thiunderhawk....
Can you hear the stampede yet?
