Well I almost started one last night (almost caved under the pressure) but had a couple more beers and thought a 5th and 6th would be a better idea instead

Then fell asleep in the chair woke up around 3 in the morning to some really bad TV

I would but I am waiting for my new suit to be delivered for the 3rd time as the first was water damaged the second they only brought half of the corner unit and the other half was another suit completely different and not even a corner unit and now they will be turning up any time today (with what I have no idea).

On the plus side I will be given compo so maybe some new mini's coming my way

But I promise it will appear very soon what use it will be I have no idea

As for those cast they do still work just paint them yes paint them with a real rusty effect and they will look good after all this is the under world so I am sure it is infested with toxic corrosive material and waste …...

Aw wow awesome blog! I saw your ruined vending machine in the Gallery a week or so back...the rest of this is truely epic stuff...building the Underhive, I wouldn't even know where to begin!

My new suit arrived and snow is pouring form the heavens above, but all is well so now I will eat and take some pictures and start a bloody blog ……..

Now back to the task in hand will these pieces get a splash of paint just so everyone else can see ( just thinking of the others ) and looking forward to the test run of resin and see how it turns out

Hey, Dave, I bought the same type of resin. If you mix it wrong you can get flexible pieces. I found out by accident so don't ask what the ratio is. And as for the MIA Rivets, well, we have faith that you can put them back on.......

Just be warned (I resin cast alot) the catalist will make you loopy if you keep your face over your work


Maybe I should say loop-IER in your case

lol, I was just about to ask how we'd be able to tell if that happened.

And the thing about sanding rivets off is that it gives you more opportunities for riveting yourself

well resin for one thing is something that i don´t want to attempt...i have no extra place to cast that...resin being still talked about as being something that might induce cancer...that is for now a definite no go for me... want to see my kids getting parents at least... so i have to be up and about...^^

be sure to protect you well too!

That frame is looking pretty sharp there Dave nice use of both set squares for a moment I thought you were building football posts necromunda football now there would be a game …………….drifted for a moment it's looking good but is it strong enough to hold the weight or you going to add extra support and will you be adding any detail to the undersides ?

Detail needed as the underside may be seen if some one is placing miniatures on the level's

Well they do say it about everything these days the worst being mobiles or for the US cellphones

That frame is as good as welded, but yes, I will add more details. Yeah, everything gives you cancer nowadays, so I guess drinking tap water and pouring resin can both kill you if you do it enough

well for underside detail i only would suggest some low hanging cables... nothing too fancy...that amount of work would be better invested in new buildings!
