Speaking of which, no idea on price, or quantity. I'd imagine something like 2 Board sections for £60.

Kind of hope that they'll allow you to mix and match the tiles soon. That would be cool.

Maybe something with trenches, or concrete foundations for CoD insertion, or magma flows, or craters, or a massive leering skull that well.. no.

I reckon they will remain fairly generic, as it very much struck me a singular release, rather than a few additional ones.

Personally, I kind of hope for a River. That would be cool. Especially if they release a Bridge to go with it!

Oooh, rivers would be nice, it would be a justification for making Chimeras amphibious.

Would also provide interesting games of Fantasy, essentially splitting the board in two, with just a couple of fording points.

But remember, other than the release being upcoming, all else is speculation folks!

£53.85 for 2 flat tiles. Also, there's an 'Imperial Warzone' set for £421.25, which has a Realm of Battle Board, 5 Bastions, 7 Aegis Defence Lines, 2 Skyshield Landing Pads, 3 sets of Moonscapes and a Fortress of Redemption.

And what exactly do you do when you buy models? Just break them open and field the bases? This sort of Hobby involves lots of 'extra work'

I just filled my skull pits with PVA glue and flocked right over them, problem solved.

If you want either a flater 6' board or want to extend to a 8' board. It's good if you use the clips?

I don't use the clips so I'm not sure I'm interested. Two 2'x2' bits of plywood will do the same thing for me.

It's shame they didn't do a river/magmaflow tile set...
I wonder how hard it would be to convert these? I didn't want to damage my ROBB set!? but now there are available separtately I might be more willing to cut them up!

EDIT - It occurs that many won't have seen the appropriate Eddie Izzard sketch. This was a saracstic reference to the cost of Pot Pourri in relation to its usefulness.

If a WM player had bought the RoB Set they could order these flats and have enough tile for
two tables, at least. Problem with using it for WM is the same as with most cool looking
molded terrain: top heavy minis fall down.

Maybe if these sell fairly well GW will release actual "new" pieces of board.

I was hoping they'd be all new tiles, but they're just the same ole flat ones that come with the set already. They should just make each one for sale separately if they're gonna do this..

I would have been happy to buy extra tiles, but at 80-100$ for 2, I really don't feel too excited. It makes modding up some pink insulation board seem much more reasonable.
If only they were released by Black Friday, I might convince myself they were worth the price at a sharp discount.
Alternate if only: If only they weren't tiles I already had, but had other terrain moulded in like ditches or a river!

If you list bought these that's £120 to make a 4'x4' flat board which you still have to paint.

MDF and those latex (I think they're latex) covers will look just as good for about a quarter of that cost.

I might get a couple people to go in with me for the 2 extra RoB pieces. More flat is good.

Did anyone else think it was odd the RoB came with molded hills when GW is trying to sell things like the "Modular Gaming Hill" and other products like that?

That's pretty absurd that they just took 2/6 pieces and sell them separately. Couldn't bother to make some fresh tiles?

As an owner of a gameboard (well our group split the cost) the flat tiles would be really nice - playing with four hill tiles gets rather annoying at times.

But I think I'm just going to take plywood/mdf/pink foam and cut it out accordingly. Way cheaper... and no annoying skull pits
