Has anyone modeled a SM dread with 2 twin autocannons? Any pics?

Hi there RB!
I've found some pics for you from a recent thread by Dakka Dakka's very own Grey_Death. Here's some pictures, and a link to his (awesome) Sons of Medusa WIP thread:

I hope that helps!

No need to convert them
Forgeworld makes them (grey used one of them i think, cant be sure)
If you want to make one then you just need 2 autocannons and the TL lascannon dread arm.
A simple barrel swap, cover up the power pack with 2 ammo drums from the auto's and your good to go.

Left arm if the rock drill arm, usually designed for bunker busting.
Its also made by Forgeworld.

If what you're after is 2 Autocannon arms (a Twin-linked Autocannon on each arm), you'd need to be Dark Angels or a Dark Angels Successor Chapter, as this is a Mortis pattern Dreadnought (rules in Imperial Armour book two, I believe).
If you need a left arm Autocannon, Forge World sell them. Just look for arms labelled as 'Mortis'.
Edit: I don't know what weapons you get with the regular Dread kit, but you'll DEFINITELY need the left arm ordering from Forge World, unless you model it yourself. The right arm may be included in the Dread box, but if not, Forge World sell that too.

you can do a decent job with imperial guard autocannons (the once that are mounted on tripods)...
you can fit them to the lascannon arm that comes with the dread. It works well. For the other arm, you can do the same with the missile pod arm. Glue some autocannon drums onto the side of the arms. it will look fine.

Actually, Neith, Dreadnoughts and Venerable Dreadnoughts from Codex: Space Marines can now take 2 Twin-linked Autocannons(one set on each arm). However, yes, FW Mortis Pattern Dreads are still DA only(although that means only 2x TL- LC, 2x ML, and 2x TL- HBs are exclusive to us now).

Yeah someone gave our GW some of their very nicely painted Space Wolves and it included the same dreadnought showed in that picture (obviosly off of ForgeWorld) exept this was painted better.

Has anyone tried simply using the autocannons from the Bastion kit? Obviously they don't have the armoured 'shoulders', but otherwise seem a reasonable match.

Hey guys, just thought I'd chime in on the Autocannon arm for my Dread.
It was a TL Lascannon arm that I chopped down and used some autocannons from the IG Heavy Weapons sprue. A little plasticard and a touch of filler to bridge a few gaps and I think it looks better than the FW version. Not as bulky, with better lines. Making a left arm TL autocannon in this manner would be a bit more problematic I would think as the left arms are a bit different.

Ah, I didn't realise that. I play Blood Angels primarily, so I don't actually have any use for C: SM at the moment.

I've decided on gluing 2 IG autocannons onto round tubing and sliding them onto the dreads hard points. This way I get the detail of the guns, don't have to chop up any weapons, and still use a multitude of other weapons when called for.
A friend told me the nickname for the 2 twin autocannons is the "Rifleman".

I think it's one of the best set-ups for a shooty dread. Very consistent and with re-rolls almost always hits/pens light armor. I usually run 3 and it gives me a good light armor/horde control option.
