Wow.
Every piece you do seems to get better, if that's possible at this point. The ladder is amazing and perfect, and all the other fiddly bitz that add scale and character really complete the "whole". I love how you're using the cast plates, I've thought about doing that before and now that I've seen it done I'm much more inclined to get back into casting and give this a go (question though- how heavy is it? Are you using plaster or Hydrocal? If you answered this already sorry, I have to catch up 3-4 pages every time I'm going for a day or 2.)
Simply stunning every time you do a project. I stand by every compliment I've offered so far, this thread is some of the best Necromunda work I've ever seen.

Looking good Stein I'm curious as to what the tiles look like painted... Skalk I think he's using "pour stone" that should be similar to hydrocal, and stronger than PoP. My personal opinion as to why the Pats lost is simple... the Giants had more Rivets.

Thanks a lot Skalk! -making me blush here bud.
I am using Permastone, available at Michael's for about $8 a can - which is identical to the dental plaster that Galorn uses, except it is a shade of white brighter in dye.
I also sourced some of his dental plaster, I can get it for $50 for a 50 pound box, a lot cheaper, but heavy, so not sure about shipping cost. My dentist says he can get it for me if I want to save on shipping.

HAHA! Wow, fast reads!! Yep, preparing for airbrushing- still haven't decided on a color yet. I picked up some RAL German WW2 airbrush colors.
BTW, my GF gets all the credit for the ladder design- she rightly pointed out that I had glued the hatch pieces in backwards for the ladder to be on the outside, and she suggested it being inside like it is

As long as you aren't storing it it a swamp you should be fine. If your area is a bit... moist... purchase a 5gal sealable bucket and store the dental stone in that. It should fit in quite snugly. (The 5gal bucket storage system is what ive done and ive had no issuez with degradation of the quality of the dental stone.
