First of all, don't judge me, I'm a newbie and I didn't know where to post this, also, English is not my first language (Netherlands, hooray for weed and cheese ='))

So, I bought some old white dwarfs and noticed a game called 'Mordheim". I immediately fell in love with it but didn't want to especially start warhammer just for that. Also, I couldn't find the rules manual for sale on the games workshop site so I'm ATM completely lost.

So, after some thinking (which is quite rare for me) I decided; "Why don't I just ask if there is already a Mordheim 40K game? And is there a (unofficial) rules manual for it?"

So, that's my question, and lets say, if there isn't already a topic about this, is anybody interested in starting a Mordheim 40K game?

Thanks in advance =)

BTW If you don't know what Mordheim is; ---> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mordheim

Sorry for my bad English =)

Ok firstly the reason you cannot find the rules for sale is because they are released as a free pdf on the GW website (at least they are in the UK) under the 'specialist games' category.

Secondly we can go two routes here:
There is a 40k version of mordheim called 'necromunda' which has been around for ages, and is more or less very similar to mordheim, look under GW specialist games again for this one as well.

Or you can look online for some home-brew rules that add all the 40k stuff to the mordheim ruleset. I've got one but can't remember the name of it or the website but I will gladly send it to you if you send me a pm.

40K Mordheim is called Necromunda.
It can even be Inquisitor if you scale down the models (decent IMO).

Both are great games (only if you have a group of guys at least semi-serious about it).

It's more like an RPG as you see characters develope. Cool stuff, but there's lots to read.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

If not Necromunda, nor Inquisitor, then look for Kill Team (in the 40k4 rulebook)

Kill Team is for single matches, and I've personally found it very fun, as little skirmishes could have an affect on the main battle later.

Necromunda and Inquisitor: *Ditto what everyone else said*

Good Luck, mate!
