IC: Chaldia woke from her slumber it was early morning & still a bit dark she looked around & decided to pack up camp, the fire was now just ash she scattered the rocks,ashes & wood to conceal that she was ever here despite having a hearty it was just enough to get her through the night.
She now has to hunt again but food here was scarce & plants here would give sickness she traveled 5 kilometers across thick foliage & cliffs to get to a area where she knew there were game about or hoped they were & fortunately she was there at small lake that existed on the flats where there was very little cover to ambush & kill the animals so she could eat plus she would fill up here watering can here...it was filled with all kinds of exotic creatures she loaded her auto-pistol sooner or later she would need to resupply on equipment she took aim with her pistol & pulled the trigger..

Goren, Ekeyael, henstuth and Virgil stood before the governor's palace. They stood in awe. A massive building stood before them. Virgil got a message from Niall in his ear bud. Virgil was the be in command of the 4. When Tor told the rest, it was followed by sighs and complaints.

'right lets find out what happened here. lets 1st talk to the security guards. we might even get an audience with the governor.'

In normal situations, normal people never got to see the governor. But the situation called for it.

they headed for the main gate, where 10 security guards were guarding the main gate. Virgil and the others showed their ID and their orders and the guards let them in.

'what happened here precisely?' asked Virgil on the officer.

'well that remains a mystery to all of us. Suddenly, 15 armed civilian personnel were headed for the governor's seat. They carried autopistols and autoguns. they all wore purple or dark blue long coats and had wierd tattoos on the heads. how they got in, nobody knows. we suspect someone of the security team was bribed, or it could be that an infiltrated terrorist let them in. who knows. we killed them all. we only had 1 casualty on our side. they can't shoot straight thats for sure.'

'wow wow hold a minute. purple and blue long coats and tattoos on their heads? asked Tor with a puzzled face.

the officer nodded.

' we encountered more of these guys in a hab block some miles from here. they were suspected for members of a cult. w thought we killed them all but after the incident at the divine saint and the security breach here.... means there are a lot more cult members.'

'What happened in the divine saint.' was the officer's reply with a puzzled look.

'you'll read it in the news.' I have to report this back to my sergeant. Double the guards.'

Tor voxed for Niall. This was a good find.

Sorry to tell you this, but I already had something planned for the incident at the palace, and without it, the biggest part of the plot so far will be out the window. If you want, I'll re-write it so it fits in with the plot, but is still interesting.

Sorry, wasn't expecting you to fast forward to being at the palace straight away .

oh sorry dark. yeah you could rewrite if you want.

The armoured transport was travelling at ludicrous speeds through the city. Niall was glad as the wind whipped through his brown hair, beats the stuffy heat of the barracks. He glanced across the empty street to see another chimera swerving down a side street heading west. Niall's transport simultaneously swung into a large boulevard going east. On the horizon, the great low warehouses of the industrial district could be seen, they were fast approaching their target.

Roger took out the photo of his wife. He similed. Has it really been that long? He put it back into his armor. His simlie faded as he knew they were getting close. He started to reload his shotgun.
"Show time." Roger breathed.
A veteran looked at him. Nodding. Pulling out his lasgun and loading it as well.
