I was refering to the lag, and not necessarily to IC posts.

Niall's squad kept in tight formation as they entered the warehouse, there was no point attempting stealth, even the tiniest footfall created a huge reverbaration through the huge building. The long low warehouse was full of high shelving units, all filled with large boxes and crates, Niall waved out his men and they went off to explore the building...

Gah! Was suppost to write a buncha stuff for you guys today! But then, as it was the last day of the school year, my dad bought me the Aliens Vs Predator game and I was like "yaywin" and then we spent 3-4 hours just getting it installed.. bloody Steam. Anyway, great game.. and I kinda got a bit carried away playing it..for 3 hours..

I'll have to leave it til tomorrow guys, apologies. I have other RP stuff I have to do in different threads first, but before that I'm gonna go take a break.

##EVENT CONTINUATION!##

Goren, Ekeyael, Hensturth and Virgil stood before the governor's palace. They stood in awe. The massive building infront of them was unlike anything they'd ever seen before.

The small group headed over to the towering gate that was flanked by a wall on each side - guards standing watch from on top of the walls. This really was a fortress.

"I see you're also with the Planetary Security Forces, then. What brings you here?" a man called out from up on the wall.

"We were sent to find out what happened up here last night - everyone knows that something did, and we need to know what."

"On whose authority?"

"On the authority of Corporal Neikt in Targo city!"

The man on the wall shook is head, and walked into a small control room muttering. A moment later, the gates began to open, and the small party headed inside.

Several men joined them, including the man who they'd been talking to from the wall.

"I'm only letting you in here because Nikt is my half-brother, and when you go back, you all better damn well remember to tell him that!"

The man lead them into the throne room - an entire room made from Tannerite, resplendent with carpets and banners everywhere, all depicting some momentus event in Tannerith's long history. Chandeliers were hanging from the roof - two small ones in the centre of each corner of the room, and one massive chandelier hanging from the middle of the ceiling. Gold and silver had been worked into the Tannerite to create massive, intricate swirling patterns across the floor and roof.

There were two resplendent seats at the back of the massive room, and they were surrounded by a dozen men in suits - obscuring the Governor and his wife from view. They were, however, approached by two men; one had two holstered swords either side, and the other had two medium sized las weapons strapped either side of him.
"Gak, is that 'em?" Tor asked their guide.
"Sure is - Rargus and Tarnath - the sons of the Governor."
Rargus and Tarnath stopped infront of them. It was Rargus, the older of the two, who spoke first. "Who have you brought to us, Officer Neikt?"
Tor looked at the others in confusion. Goren whispered in his ear, "Neikt is their last name, remember?"
He saw Ekeyael and Hensturth muttering and laughing at him. He heard one of them say, "What a newbie."
Neikt replied, "they're from Targo city's PSF department, and they were sent to find out what happened here last night."

Rargus addressed the Targo city PSFs now. "Very well then, if you must know, last night the Governor was up late, and he was approached by a figure in strange green robes and wearing an unusual helmet. The figure demanded that they be given full access to the mountains in the north - where all our mines are located. The Governor declined angrily, and asked his 'guest' who he was. The intruder merely kept on demanding that they have access to the mountains, and actually began to threaten the Governor - he even once declared that they'd kill every human on this planet if we didn't comply - and eventually the intruder drew a strange blade that is inscribed with strange runes."

"Then what?" Tor blurted out. Goren kicked him in the shin. "Ah! Er, Then what happened, my lords?"

Tarnath spoke up now. "The Governor drew his blade in return, and they dueled. The intruder, however, was protected by some sort of arcane magicks, as many a blow that would've killed him never reached him. But it was not long before our father won, and he decapitated the alien."

"Alien, my Lord?" asked Goren.

"Yes - he was clearly not human, though outwardly it could be easy to mistake him for one. No, he has long ears, and according to our father, he'd never seen any human ever move as fast as his opponant."

"Thank you for your information, my lords, we greatly appreciate it."

The two brothers nodded, before going about their business.

Their 'guide' herded them back outside the palace, and after he told them to bugger off, the four men got back into their vehicle.


Right, I'll do the event concerning Niall later, I've just spent 30-45 minutes writing this one up.

OOC- OK you guys, I'm off on holiday tommorrow, so will be out of action for a week. sorry.

As I have said, Ash, it's down to the situations you get yourself into, what I decide your character would try to do and then what actually happens via the dice.

I'd recommend you don't try and get him into fights, though, because is severely weakened atm after the last fight.
