Yup...I've read the Space Wolves omnibus and the Ultramarines Omnibus, in both books space marines used cover against fething lasguns.

Well, taking cover from a horde of Lasguns is usually a good idea. From just a couple, not really necessary.

What's your point? You don't think a Tactical Marine would take cover from a something Chaos Space marines would use?

There is no point against Crouching, just a gakky design choice.

Which you can do, if you find cover worth getting behind. Such as a plasticrete pillar, a tank carcass, a bridge, a suitably sized pile of rubble, a stone column, a cliff (in the "hull down" mindframe), etc.

All but the heaviest forms of cover aren't going to protect a Space Marine against what a Chaos Space Marine is going to use anyway.

And the game DOES in fact have said cover. In case you weren't paying attention. And you weren't, if you claim there's no cover at all.

There's cover, you just don't stick to it or crouch behind it.

I am well aware there is obstacles, I'm just saying that there is no downside to being able to crouch...what are the negative effects of me hiding my head?

What's the point of doing so, though? Sure, I think it's silly to not have the feature, but was anything really lost?

It's not like it was something major, like the inability to customize the appearance of one of the two factions, or having no weapons on one class. Crouching wouldn't really even reduce the marine's hitbox size by any noticeable amount.

Because it encourages a style of game play that is counter to the single player and multiplayer design of the game and with the controller layout how it is there is no button for it for the console versions.

Dont like it? vote with your wallet or modify it yourself if you buy the PC version.
My guess is you are just complaining to complain though and aren't willing to put forward the effort.

How do I modify so I can crouch...? That's like making it so I can go prone in BFBC2...

Trust me, if it's possible to make a flying dragon mount in Oblivoin, the game that goes buggy whenever you jump higher than 10 feet (with magic), then they can make a Space Marine duck a little.

Yeah but that would be unusable in multiplayer, and there are no mod tools for SM.

Grundz is just a bit grumpy I guess.

Eh, after watching the MP videos I didn't really see the need for crouching. All the available "cover" or obstacles that you could use to hide behind was taller than the Space Marine anyways.

From what I've seen the game plays very similar to Transformers: War for Cybertron...yes, there are spots where it's completely open, but a lot of the maps have plenty of pillars, walls, and obstacles you can run/dive behind when you really need cover.

If I wasn't at work, I'd go on youtube and post a video...

Let's just hope it's not delayed on PS3 like Kill Team was...

Won't be playing the demo, I never do with games I already know I want. I want the full package and nothing less

So let me get this straight, if I want the Power Sword on the PC I need to buy from the THQ store which is more expensive and now Steam users get the demo early. I'm starting to feel a little screwed over.

The question isn't why do I kill. The question is, why I don't kill everybody.

The THQ.com store version isn't more expensive.

THQ.com has two PC versions, a Collector's edition and a normal version. Both have the power sword as a preorder bonus.

It's more expensive than most sites, if it wasn't for the Power Sword I'd order it from Game for £29.99. And I'm aware there's 2 versions.

A quick lookup:

THQ.com sells it for 49.99 USD.

Steam sells it for 49.99 USD.

Best Buy sells it for 49.99 USD.

Gamestop sells it for 49.99 USD.

Amazon sells it for 46.99 USD (3 dollars off)

Looks like it's offered at roughly the same price everywhere to me...

Not really worried about Steam getting the demo before everyone else...I'm assuming the Demo isn't very long and you just play for like an hour and then you are done.

(Irony alert!)

Pro Tip: Don't use the term 'Pro Tip'. It is unnecessarily antagonistic and oftentimes counterproductive to a calm discussion.

Thanks!

I provided sources. I don't see the price difference, and I showed why.

If, in fact, there is a price difference as you claim, perhaps you could provide your own sources? Otherise I'll assume it's merely your perception, and not actually truth.

There are two "scenes". One where you fight off a horde of Orks, and one where you utilize the jump pack in battle. How long we don't know.

The only demos I've played on the 360 that have run more than an hour were Civ Revolution and Culcept Saga. If the full game can routinely run 5-6 hours in length for a single session, an hour long demo isn't too short. For a TPS, I'd be surprised to hear that it ran longer without a multiplayer element that wasn't timed.
