Subject: Re:Ishkatar's Imaginarium: SM with MINIGUN and other nonsense. 03/7 My very first miniature sculpting!
@El Vic:
I think, that I will make my own power generator for the blade.
Me too never liked the organic-styled stuff that much ever... Except for a human body, of course. I guess I should try to sculpt a female figure in some future - she will be my Galatea
@Chemical Cutthroat:
Baldness is always badass, indeed, yet the hood is even better! It's almost as cool as a cowboy hat:

I dunno, in all of those videos (I have them saved in HD on my phone so I can ambush people with them), everybody is awesome. Period. I think they did a good job portraying that.
What I really wanted was a Bounty Hunter... maybe one day.

((I'd apologize for being off topic, but I'm committed to it now.))
Yeah, that CGI company is absolutely amazing. If they hired them to start doing CGI Star Wars movies I would pay them all of my dollars forever.
They did the opening credits for 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo', the stateside version. And that was a total mind**** as well... those guys are amazing.
They successfully rekindled my love and passion for Star Wars after George Lucas tried to crush it from me. That's saying something.

Indeed, those guys knows, how to cause da nerdgasm!
Though, I wish SW:ToR was at least half as good as those trailer... Don't get me wrong - the game is fairly good and fun to play, but after those aswesome animations I've been expecting something more.

I think the best thing I could do for myself is sectioning off the Trailers from the Game. The trailers are awesome, but they are their own thing... I've seen way too many awesome trailers for video games to get the two confused anymore. Still, I have to agree.

That's quite a wise move, I'd say... After all It's not something unusual this days, when an awesome trailer appears to have nothing to do with a lame final product.
Anyway, back on a track, shall we?
I'm not entirely happy with the proportion of the outcoming head, so...
Dispite the Pithecanthropus forehead, what do you guys think?
first...: the vid... man ishkatar...was that needed to do? man now you got me started on yet another game...darn... i need to be focused^^
as for the head... i think your concept would be more to the point...seeing that the body you aimed for the GW heroic scale... so should be the head... so...back to the drawing board?...well you asked for it...and also see it as a mild form of retaliation for that way too awsome and mouthwatering vid you just carelessly shoved in my face

Well, it was inevitable, El Vic SWtOR isn't that great as it could have been and not even close to that awesomeness you've seen in those trailers, but it's a fairly decent game to give it a shot. Yet, as soon as I've completed the Sith Warrior's main storyline, I've canceled my subscription...
I've spent the whole night playing the Red Faction: Armageddon (oh, It's good to be on vacations), but I've managed to make some sculpting anyway, and here's what I've done:
Some work to be done anyway, but I'm pretty close to the finish.
Got any thoughts?
Speak at will!
I love seeing your progress Ish! the helmet/gasmask is awesome! Very FallOut-esque! Do you plan to make casts of the head? You should. And the rest of the model too of course, it is inspiring! I can see a traitor guard force wearing those helmets!
Cheers, pal!
The design of the mask is very common and I saw a lot of such heads all over the internet, though I should try to cast it anyway. You can never have too much post-apocalyptic heads around The main reason is, I want my miniature to be hooded, but this head appears to be fairly self-sufficient, so casting and using it as a conversional part for my current work, while keeping the master-model for some future projects, sounds like a wise idea.
Make it seem more sci-fi esque, and then have the hood over the rest of the head?

Oh, that's actually a wonderful idea! How could I forget about those awesome Skyrim lich masks! Thanks a lot, Shasolenzabi. I think I will try to make something similar with bionic eyes and cables, of course - seems to be more fitting to my guy.

Anytime! Once I get done with the whole move thing,,,I still have a T-64"Bulat" to finish as well amongst my many differing projects as well. odd model, came with copper etched parts, resin parts as well as the plastics and rubbery tracks.
Now if I had developed my own sculpting more, I had some ideas as well to make solid form, oh well.

Man, I know that feeling!
When unexpectedly I've got Krosis, I've almost pooped myself, seeing the overwhelming awesomness of my character in this mask... So all other headgear just disappeared for me! That's why I've installed The Helmless Warrior plugin and became a happy panda

so....speak at will he said...well i am willing...
to be hoenst... a very good looking headscultp... very fine detail and all... for a gueardsman this would be quite the treat! but i fear for your very awsome model...it is just not cutting the mustard enough!
i think if i came up witha suitable face/mask/head now it would be too late... phasespace has moved on so much as is... but you need for that body a whole lot more awsomeness...sorry mate...
as for Krosis...anyone sees a striking resemblence of the first who wore this kind of mask...*coughviktorvondoomcough*
@Shasolenzabi:
That's odd indeed. I suppose it will be tricky to assemble it. By the way, I never laid my hands on any vehicle models yet.
As for sculpting... You definitely should! Sculpting is really fun though demands some stubborness
@Chemical Cutthroat:
It depends on my laziness But I will be away from my workbench for the friday, so it will take a couple more days
@El Vic:
You've got the point! That was bothering me too... I guess, I will make few more different heads to have a variety of choice.
I'd say in common it's a very Sith-esque looking mask. Reminds me off this:

The other thing is it was made over there, a SKIF model. I have slowly worked on mods to models, but sculpting a full figure that is in my head as an idea has not happened since I was a kid making clay shark men.

Yes, the Sith have a long and colorful history when it comes to masks. Revan's of course, is the most famous. And awesome. Way cooler than Darth... err... forgettable. Nihlus?
I always think an uncaring and emotionless visage for a bad guy is the best. At least on the ones that work through intimidation and whatnot. Count Dooku should never cover his handsome visage! How else would he get his charisma bonus?
