While having a triples game with 5 of my mates, me girlfriend came into see what was up with all the laughing (We were laughing un-controlably when my mate lost agianst 10 High Archers with his 10 Chaos chosen...

She came in had a scout around the table to look at all the figures, she then turned to say something to me and knocked off my Anvil of doom with her arm on a concrete floor. All the laughter just died in a split second and we all literaly sat their staring at my broken Anvil (It wasen't really broken, and it all came apart from where I clued it together, so it only took like 10min to put it back together). But anyways, as we were all staring at it, one of my teamates said, well, I guess that counts as you blowing up your anvil. Then we all went back to laughing, but I sorta died a little in side.

But when the game was finished and all my friends went home. She forgave me in all sorts of ways!

Depends on what you replace it with, cartoon-wise. If replaced by Batman or X-men from the 90s, you might be doing him a favor. Put in MLP and turn him into a brony, then exterminate him with fire! He'd deserve it for being a dirty pony-lover.

Good luck with the recovery, perhaps an all over coat of Badmoon Yellow might work. i.e. really go over ther top!

Just copy all his saved games onto a flash drive and hold them hostage.

I never realised how much destruction has been caused to our fine man-dollies by the ignorant!!

I've perfected the solution, to remove parts from sprues I have a collection of medical scalpels, and I love to remind everyone that they are designed to cut through skin! on top of that I make sure they are aware just how good I can wield them to get the pieces off the sprues. With that knowledge every seems to be more careful around my models!!

The only truely bad thing for me was caused by me, a few weeks back after playing down GW with a mate. I was carrying a box for him, and balancing a shoe-box containing 1000pts Necrons and 1000pts Daemons (including a lord of change and bloodthirster both metal). As I opened the car door the box slipped and all 2000pts scattered across the concrete car park in the dark! Out of everything only 2 scarab bases and 3 warriors survived intact! and my friends response (he was on the other side of the car at the time) when he saw? "phew, I thought it was my box you dropped"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Learnt my lesson now, only carry models in boxes with latches!

I have always feared dropping my models on a walk to/from my local club in the dark... you'd never find everything :(

as good an idea as that is, he goes on it basically 6 or so hours a day, so he'd notice. Either him, or someone else.

A better (or more effective) is open up the xbox, cover the cpu fan (so that it can still spin, but not let hot air go) and watch how it rrods is 10-15 seconds and no trick will save it (unless you remove the fan blocker). You can do all this in 30 minutes even if you are inexperinced.

I gotta ask...what is it about crazy girls that is so darn attractive? And, if anyone says "nothing," I have a ten page thread to back me up that a lot of us tend to be attracted to the crazies.

It's a myth. I had a couple crazies who weren't so great. The one crazy I had (who I mentioned in the 'how fast is your redshirt' thread) was a freak in the bedroom. Sigh, I miss those sessions. I went through a lot of belts during that time period...

I've had only had two, though not near as bad as some on this thread.
A guy I was playing accidentally flipped a building that had my 3 wraiths in it. Arms broken in all the wrong places, head came off, and tail broken in the middle.

I had just finished stage 3 out of 4 on my Necron wraith lord. this was where it was playable. the only step left was to gs a cloak to give it stability. I was showing it to my brother and told him how I had gotten it to the perfect height. he proceeded to push it's tail down, breaking all the bonds holding it. He didn't realize it was glued in place so I didn't give him too hard of a time.

Sent FW Grenadier #8 to meet the metal end of a sword scabbard at a very high speed, one footbroke off, while the other stuck around and perfectly broke off its sprue, so no biggie.

I have one landspeeder that always finds its way in the path sweeping hands or accidental hip checks. In one awful at the time, but now hilarious, had a friend smack by accident it in full swing, and shot it across a room. It snapped the base off, but didn't break the actual model. I joked it Turbo Boosted and the skill of the Ravenwing crew saved it.

No mate, I think that inside every normal bird there is a crazy one trying to get out. The crazy ones are just further along the path than the normal ones is all.

My girlfriend stole one of my sniper scouts from my army, as well as some paints and didn't inform me. Assuming that I lost the scout in transport, I replaced it off of ebay. Not a big deal.

Turns out, she stole the model and painted him pink, white, and red and then gave it to me on valentines day. Shes too cute.

I mean, hell, even I have let a girl paint an Ork all pink and the like, but now I think about it from a removed and more abstract position all I can ask myself is 'why?' 'Why did I let a girl ruin a perfectly good and rather expensive miniature?' Simply because, if it's a girl, and we put up the veneer of liking them, then it's ADORABLE when they do their *utterly unique and individual* little takes on our spayss mans.

Oh my, I seem to have raged with no provocation... my apologies, it's a shame that these inter-tubes seem to be a place for that.
