IIRC Shadows appearances in the current RP have been simple small blurbs of sort,the appearance of Shadow as a "Deus ex machina " would be poor form IMO.

It can't be Batman,during the initial outbreak Gotham city was one of the primary centers of activity...Batman,in the attempt to stop what he believed to be a routine mugging,which was actually three zombies feeding on an old man,was bitten several times...before he could return to the Bat cave and figure out an antidote to the virus..he was shot and killed by The Joker,and has since reanimated....
He now wanders the streets of Gotham along with a veritable army of the undead.

Exactly,Spidey has bonded on a molecular level with the "Radioactive spider" powers,so even as a zombie,theoretically,he would still have the ability to climb walls,etc.
Bats is just a human with a brilliant mind,lots of gizmo's,a fantastic amount of combat knowledge and skill and a flair for theatre..

You know man,your the only person who's character isn't directly involved in this event.which means you could be RPing a lot more about your characters/NPCs journey to meet with Snow in New York than just what music they're listening to on the way there.

Karon passes by norfolk, red 5 has allready been launched and is on patrol looking for a beat up hummer, as Karon rounded a bend a stream of gunfire errupted across th road, gutting the engine of the hummer. troops decended on rappel lines and surrounded the vehicle
"your on our wanted list" one of the troopers said, before tossing a primed grenade into the vehicle
