The "Deathwatch" logo jumped out immediately to me. Looks like we have some confirmation on the next FFG 40k RPG.

In the picture linked, does the Orcs and goblins Army book (have a different (and darker) cover to the current one?

(It's bottom left of the the pic, between the black folder and the kids hand)

@Defiler - We British are always correct. Its you foreigners that get it wrong. I suspect it's because there's not enough Tea in your diet.

Looks like the standard codex cover to me.

Of course typically it looks like a person of younger persausion won the mega prize.

I mean he's seen some awesome confirmation rumour style info in all likelyhood and probably doesn't partake of forums to share the gossip.

edit - oh and aye, looks like they've blown the Deathwatch logo there... looks nice.

its the 40k mmo i believe.

It is true... or at least I read it somewhere. Doesn't explain why other European countries drive on the right though. Probably because they're not as paranoid.

I wouldn't be surprised. If 8th is coming out in summer, then the Empire and O&G books are likely to follow soon after(trend in Fantasy). That said, it looks like the previous (6th) book's art or one of the Gobbo boxes art. It's definitely not the bright, shiny Pig Rider current book.

Ah its the previous book, just updated to 7th book style, well its certainly the previous to current cover. (I assumed it was still that one when I looked, don't have the new one, plus I said Codex which probably added to the confusion.)

Its certainly an older cover pic though, so doubtful they'd use for a new book.

After a bit of research, i think you're right about it being the 6th ed art. The light yellow zigzag matches the wooden spikes, and you can just make out a spike from the Orc helm. However it has the red border of the newer army books. Deliberate red herring perhaps?
