Nice little haul there, the big gribblies look very tempting.

There's a problem somewhere

...or my Robotech minis...

...or...

Etc.

I just read your rant and googled "Taurox". Damn thats a silly looking truck. Too bad for the imperials. I guess there really is no god emperor. (I realise I'm behind the times on this, but I genuinely never saw one before).

Wow look at all those bones. What a trove.

Now folks can see why the "Taurox" is equated with a refugee from a Saturday morning cartoon in it's design. I have seen some decent conversions of it so it looks less silly, less cartoony. I prefer other transports to the silly thing.

My problem with the Taurox is that it's way too small. It Looks like a cereal box toy! Who's approvong this stuff at GW... 10 year olds?

I may have also, accidentally, ordered a metric assload of praetorian-style bitz from Curious Constructs and Victoria Miniatures.

It is okay if I send 30 3W T5 SV3+ models running at your lines, right?

It's not hoarding Brian - you'll find a real need for some of those part in a few years, and then you'll be ever so glad that you have them to and and don't need to wait for another delivery

Once again, I'd like to point out Curious Constructs. Run by Col. Gravis and company, they produce a FINE line of amusing miniatures and conversion parts.

Affordable, fast, low flash, good detailing.

https://curiousconstructs.theslowcentury.com/ocart/

Another fine supply drop, of heads, torsos, and rough riders.

Thanks, Rob!

I think I have to paint all of them black, with a light grey "Omega" decal on the wings...

B5 themed army? That could actually work really well. Infantry in GROPOS colours etc.

Hi, kids! Give me some help.

One of these is made with a standard IG Cadian torso. The other is made with an empire knight torso.

Let me know which looks better.

Ogryn for scale purposes.

Thanks!

Using Cadian will probably give the army a more consistent look and feel... I don't think it would get too uniform, but that's just me.

As a note, the REST of the army will be in Praetorian/Mordian-style tunics, no vests/armor visible.

Sorry Brian... still recovering and half-dazed. They look good but the horses seem a little small for the size of the rider. Maybe it's just the angle.

Noted here for future reference, I can charge $12.99 for a pack of 100 1" clear acrylic bases, and make a decent amount of money on it.

What else am I supposed to do, while babysitting a laser cutter for 8 hours overnight?

Why, prime and paint all of my Battletech miniatures!

The hard part, in all honesty, is trying to group up the miniatures into Lances that balance out, and represent all five major IS houses. So I've been banging away on a spreadsheet to help me figure it out. Almost done, too!

It's like magic, only with little numbers in little boxes.

I may need sleep.

PS: The three Clan miniatures are helping. They're helpers.

Yeah, two introductory box sets, plus all eight of the new plastic lance sets. And some extras from the before time.
