no, because it has no target to blow up.
I found a spawner in wolf's mine using f3 to scan for large groups of mobs for caves, and what loot did I get?
one bread, one redstone, 1 string and 1 wheat.

And I was looking out of a window at a creeper focusing on me, when a skellie tried a shot, which hit the creeper, making it explodde and kill me.
and I haven't been able to log on since around 8:30.
and when I got on I got reset to a few hours previous, which means no gold socks, no iron tools, no 500 block trek, no path to my house...

I just made a diamond block.... i'm really regretting it now.

I added a 10x10 room onto my house which had a small waterfall and is going to look very pretty. I stuck the diamond block in the middle of the room. I'll have to make a pillar of diamond now, one block looks terrible.

Thats a cool idea. I'm gonna make a little shrine of sorts in the pagoda, and include a waterfall

You can break up a diamond block into 9 diamonds by placing it in your crafting grid.

Yeah, for some reason the map won't load. It only loads about a 50x50 square radius, and then if I walk any further I fall into oblivion. I keep logging to see if reloading is the problem, or if it's just the lag at the time, but it always appears the same. It hasn't done this before.

If it helps, I'm right in front of the cannon workshop. I can see the doors, open them, but if I step in I fall.

There's probably something wrong with your internet, because that sounds like you're getting the chunks too slowly. Basically why I can't play SMP, because my internet is too terrible to ever load more than a handful of chunks, or bother sending unimportant things like any action relating to the world, whatsoever.

I wouldn't mind if it was like that to begin with, but the problem is that it's only started happening today, despite the fact that it's worked fine for the last two weeks.

I like the idea of floating islands with waterfalls (I have them on my floating island lair, for example), but what about having smaller floating islands 'catching' the waterfalls in small pools? And then those small pools could waterfall again down to lower (controlled) pools/rivers?

That would be awesome. If docadeth wants to do something like that with the floating island, I would be down to help.

Okay guys, just a heads up as well, there is a second small griefer on the map. A couple of blocks have been removed, and some have been added around the place.

Is my house alright after all this talk of griefing?

Net's been capped so haven't been able to log in for a bit and still 9 days before I'll be able to again. Though I'm considering building a new house in a more remote location when I can log back in so I guess my house could go to whoever when I finish construction.

i have been slowly been working on my massive mining operation on my main save file but i got bored and decided to try the DAKKA seed out.

I decided to set up shop at the floating islands everyone was talking about. i have a small house at the top of the spire near them and i built a railway out to the floating islands.

i am now in the process of clearing them and building an obsidian fortress on top of them.

by all means, hack doorways in.
Attention:
feel absolutely free to hack a doorway into the big wall if there isn't one near an area you visit a lot or near your house.

Just be sure to put an actual door there so it can't be passed through by mobs.

If you come across a giant cobble wall that has been started but not completed and looks to be going around my treehouse, do NOT hack a door into it; a redstone powered complex lock entrance will be added when the wall is complete but not before then; it's not hard to walk around it.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I was lightning creeper'd at your respective residences. I will try to repair them once I finish moving.

Now for Iffy's special message. The front entrance to your grinder was blasted open. I sealed it off, as Mobs were coming in. Just be prepared for a horrorshow when you get home.

I am sorry for my Creeper Magnetism.

It's Shrike's thing. Make a door to go through it, I've been adding wooden doors occasionally myself.
