Just got this info letter from Urban Mammoth talking about their new Mini Game. Look sort of like Munchkin to me, the figs are in that "super deformed " lookin maga style. Look like it might be a bit of fun. Link is here.

Other then the fact that those minis made me throw up a little in my mouth, the only other thing missing is Tim and the Knights who say NEE!

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

Those are fugly. I mean, well done, but they look more suited for Toy Story 7 (or whatever they're on) then the table top.

They look interesting. Not really my style, but I can see the appeal.

This looks like Castle Crashers for the tabletop. I could get behind that.

Seconded

You know you're really doing something when you can make strangers hate you over the Internet. - Mauleed
Just remember folks. Panic. Panic all the time. It's the only way to survive, other than just being mindful, of course-but geez, that's so friggin' boring. - Aegis Grimm

Only not as lovely and it somewhat misses that special touch of art from Dan Paladin imho.

yeah,
Looks interesting, and with only eight characters per side a easy game to get started with.

I like the idea of a story game that is sold as issues.

I'll wait and see how big a table area is needed/how much terrain. It could make for a great pub game.

Panic...

Those are very, very cool. I don't really care what the game's like, I'm going to have to pick up a set just to paint them.

Although I could hope that they'll flesh out the range enough to do a Heroquest game or two out of it...

Well, they're certainly unique. I'm not sure I really dig the style, but for what it is, it's well done.

Hi Chaps,
The games are played on a 3.5 by 3.5' table, can be a little smaller if space is restricted. It is a kind of beer and pretzels game, it's easy to learn; as you play the game you learn the rules rather than having to read it all up to get you started. And there's quite a bit of humour in it with an adult "slant"; we are also fans of Monty Python.
The first issue, in fact all issues when they are released, will be available to download for free on the 4th of May.
Feel free to ask any more questions.
Cheers
