Most of my family haven't been able to make it here yet, due to the snowstorms. So far, gaming-wise, I got:

A blister of nurglings.

Well, 40k wise I got a Cadian Special Weapon blister.

For modeling, I got a fresh pack of GS, and some molding rubber. Sweet. Now to make meself some reproducible trenchgaurd...

Clothing wise, I got a really comfy undershirt from MEC, the long-sleeved black style, and a big genuine Drizabone duster, which I believe was brought a considerable distance for me. It's really neat.

I also got the Victorinox Rescue Tool, which is wicked.

"That is THEIR stuff." "THEY'RE crappy converters."
"I put it over THERE." "I'll go to the store THEN."
"He knows better THAN that." "This is NEW." "Most players KNEW that."

Another Valkyrie of my Mum (I would have loved to be in on the phonecall when she ordered that), although it came with the vulture wings which is a bit odd.

As far as 40k, I got a Tyranid Crusher Brood (3 Fexes), and an Eldar Wraithguard to finally give me a full 10 man squad of them. Other stuff includes generic clothing including an awesome Tony Hawk Skateboarding jacket. Prince of Persia for PS3, Red Alert 3 for PC, a popcorn machine, and a food steamer. Finally, my Fiancè got me a totally awsome $100 dollar watch.

Overall a great Christmas. Much better than last year when I spent Christmas eve in my car cause I got stranded with two flat tires.

I got Iron Man and the Dark Knight on DVD, clothes and a wacom tablet. Gave the dog a toy octopus which she promptly ran around the house with shaking it and acting ferocious. Adorable. Pretty good Christmas.

I got two shirts that do not fit, a pair of jeans that do and an orange.

Well, what did I expect? I was not meant to be home this year for the hollidays, seeing my family was a good enough gift for me.

Although, I wouldn't have minded a few minis!

I think that a walmart gift card is prob. about the most thoughtless present you could get. I mean, what did you do to them?

Capt. gordo: Umm.., not that dakka would keep online for very long. But, in general, me and the wife threw in a movie for the kids, and sprinted up stairs. Veni veni veni!

Santa brought me:

Combination credit card holder/calculator (from the school's Santa Workshop)

An Ice Cube lunchbox

"Vote for Vader in 2008" t-shirt (I'd like to think of our president elect as a well mannered Darth Barack...)

4G Flashdrive

a Rush CD

a rice cooker (given to me, intended for the wife - my rice cooks fine on the stovetop)

a Kitchenaid stand mixer complete with flames on the motorhead (just like Alton, baby!)

3 pots of GW paint that I didn't already have

1 pot of GW paint that I do already have (yeah! exchanges!)

What Santa failed to bring me due to relying on Fedex during a snowstorm [insert FAIL here]:

Sabol Army Transport - the wife finally got tired of hearing me when little men fell apart going from point A to point B

Kolinski Series 7 brushes (0, 2/0, 3/0) - the wife finally got tired of hearing me when little men got paint in the wrong place from frizzled bristles on low-grade brushes

Santa couldn't bring me but I got anyway:

the first afternoon nap I've had a chance to enjoy since Thanksgiving

the love and adoration of my son for his first cell phone, mp3 player, and Monolith

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

I got Life Jazz (perfume by YSL, very nice), a japanese-page styled Moleskin, a book about a cat, a dog and a man (reminiscent of Calvin & Hobbes), and Dr.Doom 2099 #21. Hey, all I'm missing are the 19 between #1 and #21 (and all that came after that...). And the odd chocolate.

From me I got an Assault on Black Reach, but I don't know when I'm gonna paint it. My dad gave me an external HD (1 tb, and I've only got 10 gb free. Oh woe!) and a new iPod, since he knew I was giving my old one to my gf so she could use it with the iPod docking station I got her (which is really good, I might be getting one later).

Other than that... I gave my older brother the Settlers of Catan game, nothing for my middle-brother and youngest sister, but I bought a laptop-base for my older sister and a cute cap and gloves for my nephew.

Dad got squat and mom got a body cream. Sorry fellas, not enough money to go around (that'll teach 'em to top up my account properly).

Still haven't used the iPod. It looks extremely frail (but cute) so I don't want to take it for a walk before I get it a proper cover.
