I expect this guy will be a named character for the final battle of Vraks, before the inevitable Exterminatus.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

As soon as the next Forge World oder is up I'm getting one of these. The question remains if I should use him as Kur'Gath or "only" a Demon Prince....

from the TMP announcement -

'This bloated mound of putrescent flesh represents a particular horror whose history and rules will be presented in our forthcoming Imperial Armour Volume Seven: The Siege of Vraks Part 3, but can also be used to represent your own Daemon princes, Greater Daemons, or offer an alternative Great Unclean One (see Codex Chaos Space Marines and Codex Daemons). The Daemonic Herald of Nurgle - a distorted, slug-like figure with rusted augmetics - can also easily be used in a variety of roles such as a Chaos Sorcerer or Nurgle spawn.'

Needs more chaos marine left in it, but still a cool model.

Apparently this fellow is what's left of Deacon Mamon, Cardinal Xaphan's henchman. Which explains why there's no traces of Chaos Marine-ness about him.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

I wouldn't call him a henchman. He's the guy who engineered all of it.

I didn't know there were rules for Great Unclean Ones in the Chaos Marine 'Dex. They must be talking about 3rd edition

Can anyone find Great Unclean One in the Chaos Marine codex?

The Great Unclean One in the CSM codex is just the generic Greater Daemon. The blurb says to see the CSM and Daemon codex for reference. The Greater Daemon is CSM codex only, the Great Unclean one is Daemons only and the Daemon Prince is used in both codexes.

I Forgot to take a pic with his companion. But he's a bit larger than a usual infantry model and comes with 40mm base.
