The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

So, with this in mind, throw a couple of shades of green on Ork flesh, then wash with Devlan Mud? (I'm still unsatisfied with my own Ork skin so I'm shopping)
For my goblins I use knarloc green, goblin green, devlan mud over whole model, rehighlight goblin green.
Orcs are knarloc green, devlan mud whole model, knarloc green highlights.

Thank you. July is a "painting" month so I'll try out a bunch of techniques. Thanks for this one, too. Always appreciated.
You may get even more Vince in commercials now that Billy Mays died "I GUARANTEE IT!"

All the highlights and shading on those models are washes. The skin is Goblin Green with a Thrakka Green wash, the body is Bubonic Brown, pants are Bleached Bone, Scorched Brown for the shoes, Codex Grey for the metal, and the straps are all left white. Devlan Mud wash over that does all the highlighting and shading I need, and then some. Makes for some nice tabletop quality models.

Then you're gonna love this...
Sorry if this has already been around Dakka.

Yeah.
Once upon a time, GW sold awesome black primer at a reasonable price. One of the few true-black "blacks", with great coverage and beautiful, thin coats with a fine "tooth" for painting on.
The word got out, and even non-GW painters started using the stuff.
Then GW noticed it was selling and promptly turned it into overpriced gak.
