Yeah That would look great, and have Team Fortress 2 across the bottom.

Do it! DO IT NOA !

Can't wait for the rest of them.

I have just purchased the following figure from Ebay for the sum of £4.75, shipping free. Seems a bit much given the condition, I know, but the alternative was buying a last chancers box new for £25 plus shipping.

This will, once stripped, become my Heavy. A slight progress update: removed most of the GS on the demoman, as I wasn't happy with it. I also found out why I wasn't happy with it (mixed the greystuff too soft - harder is easier to work with). I've also got a torso for the sniper lined up for when I figure out where the hell I'm gonna get a head.

I think the next thing I'll do though, is re-do the demoman.

These would have made a brilliant Last Chancers unit under the old codex.

I'm interested in seeing what you'll do with the pyro, though admittidly he'll probably be the easiest to convert.

Just recieved my Heavy in the post after a slight delay, bringing the total of WIP team members up to 6. Still to do are the Scout, Pyro and Engineer.

Spy paintjob is ongoing. Yes, I know the hands are the wrong colour (always work with reference pics, damnit!). Also, since this model is wearing a jumper (unlike the original spy) what are people's thoughts on how this should be painted?

I've hit a bit of a block with the soldier's rocket launcher though. The attempt I made with GS didn't look great, and was a lot more flexible than I'd have liked. I think I'll look around for some RPGs to harvest for parts.

Actually, after just GSing a bush hat for one of my Catachans I can attest to the fact that it's surprisingly easy to do.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Forever alone

I think Gunnery Sergeant Harker would make a better heavy, as you just have to shave off his mowhawk and you've got a bald screaming muscleman.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

you could paint bullet impacts and some hardlines on the vest to make it look bullet proof? and if you got little paper masks of people on the base that would be epic =D

cheese also has a really good idea, the model is bigger than a normal guardsman

Or perhaps some kind of Pringle type design.

whatever you do for the heavy, you need to GS the neck so its ridiculously thick

what's the spy got in his offhand? if nothing, he should be holding a cigarette

and you have to do a good job on the sniper.... if you don't i'll eat you

i kid, i kid, still 'Sniping's a good job mate'

OMG! YOU MUST MODEL A JAR OF URINE ONTO THE SNIPER'S BASE! YOU MUST!

Besides, the guys get a chance to let their FABULOUS! side out. - Fafnir, regarding male howling banshees

Love this stuff! Pyro should be easy enough with pig iron gas mask heads + all the flamer bitz thats included in IG kits.

'Ox', the heavy bolter guy, has a head that would look good on a scout but they're supposed to have thin frames. For a scout's body you might look into using a Tau and filing/greenstuffing it since he's supposed to be smaller; but I'm interested in what you'll do with it!

A++

The neck's pretty thick as is, but I'll bear it in mind if I suddenly run out of other things to do.

He's holding his jacket open with his other hand. Also, I flatly refuse to try and model something as small and fiddly as a cigarette.

I have the xbox version of team fortress 2, so as far as I'm concerned, there is no such thing as jarate.

Thanks everyone for your comments though, it does help me keep going with this.

Unfortunately for you, the engineer will likely be the last one I do, as I'll probably need to scratchbuild most of his turret. And I don't really have the supplies for that at present. But rest assured, I'll get round to it...Eventually™.
