I don't even KNOW anymore.

I love seeing pictures of young, fresh faced people trying to be all GRIMDARK. It's cute, like when a little kid puts on hid dad's army boots and goes clomping around.

Also, reading the slobbering replies here reminds me yet again why there are so few women in our hobby.

Yeah, the dudes look like total dongs. Which, since they are dressed up like little spacemen toy soldiers.... The SOB outfit is very well done and actually looks like cool scifi. The attractive female is the key though- they can make just about anything look good. Imagine same outfit with hambeast. Then it would match Commisar Muttonchops, Inquisitor Tinyhowser, and Brother Hugeshoes.

Pah! You have no appreciation of quality cosplay.

You would probably like the SoB girl even if she was just in her birthday suit.

Eh forget that tbh we need more pics of cute zelda girls, 40k cosplay is just a little too much.

Battle Sister costume is bloody impressive (almost movie quality), though if I had to chose a photo to stare at all day, I'd stick with the Zelda girl

The Commissar guy is funny.

Commissars are always entertaining, dressing up as them only more so.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

Cheese Elemental-Love does not bloom in 40k. Love burns. It gets turned inside out, set on fire, raped, shot with bolters, and beaten with a crowbar.

Oddly enough, the SoB is the only one that is really outwardly recognizable as 40k and Sci-Fi. It's amazing how bland and non-scifi regular people are in the 40k universe when their outfits aren't ridiculously garish or their weapons 3x too big. The comissar for example, has a huge plasma pistol, but without a huge sword and giant hamfists and super giant blingin' eagles, he doesn't really scream 40k badass as much as he should.

Now the chops on the other hand are a brilliant touch.

The commissar's hat isn't nearly big enough.

Truth is if you didn't know the SoB was a character out of 40K, you could easily take her for a character out of the latest Final Fantasy, or Bayonetta or something.

That Sister Of Battle is pretty hot.
But the thing that bothers me is that that Comissars plasma pistol is waaaaay toooo big. I don't wanna see the result when that sized plasma pistol explodes in his hand.
