And this is BS and this and this and this and that, definitely that....
I know, it's all bs. The only thing which makes sense is cricket, cricket and cheese.
Can you say Troll, and spam???
Damn dude, chill the hell out. If you feel that way, say it (as you have like 4 times now) and leave the thread. Don't harass people and act like you know more than they do, especially on something that is based on pure opinion and perspective.
oh ffs lighten up. I'm not harrasing nobody. Tongue is firmly in cheek, only you didn't notice.

Myanswer was serious. What is the meaning of life? bs. If there havent been already, there will be numerous times in your life when that answer makes sense more than any other.
It's bs because the answer will always change, there is never one answer to the question (other than 42) and there will never be an answer to the question. The answer will always be what you need it to be at that given moment in time.
Right now whatwhat's answer is the answer he needs it to be at this moment in time. Its been my answer before as well.
Anyway my lunch break is over, you can go back to your "serious conversation" without me now.
but at least brotherstynier actually gets what I mean, even if I have used the word bs a bit too often, and aparantly pissed a few people off in the process.

Which also means that this process of antagonism and derogation is perpetual; implying that resistance through a nonsensical response like "Its all bs" is childish.
Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.
Were all insignificant IMO, so there is no meaning to life. I mean in hundred years are we going to be remebered? We will live and die and then nothing. Life will move on, and we wont, cause we will be dead. (I dont think that made any sense)

It may very well be revoking process that will continue with out end, and no matter how childish its still his answer in a thread wanting people's answers. Answering "I think this thread is all quite foolish, because everyone's answer is bound to change depending on how you feel at the time." Would probably have been a more adult answer but, this is the internet, not ever answer is going to be that way.
I suppose if a "Creator" of life got together with some other "Creator" friends and talked about what they had been up to lately you might might get an answer.
Or, you could ask a parent.

It isn't the answer itself, but the continued defense of it. If any potential answer to the given question is nonsensical, and anything nonsensical is bad, then replying repeatedly contradicts the second premise.
Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.
I don't know what the meaning of life is, I cannot possibly fathom it either.
So I'll say that I don't/can't know at this stage in my existence. Perhaps if there is a secondary stage or this is a primer stage or part of such a stage I will know more later on. But as of now, even if there is no point to this existence, I'm determined to make it a better one for as many people as I can. Whether or not I'm successful is another matter really...

Once upon a time, I told myself it's better to be smart than lucky. Every day, the world proves me wrong a little more.
I believe we're put here to prove to ourselves what kind of an individual we are and to prepare for the next stage of our existance after our life here is over. I believe we lived in a pre- existance with God as his literal children and we're here to learn and grow and become worthy heirs to his kingdom. In essance, this is our childhood and the things we learn and do here, good or bad, are going to be the things we take with us on down the line to either build on or grow out of.
Life is a fluke of nature, sentience as we know it is an even rarer fluke.
In this mindset i view life as something which should thoroughly be enjoyed, if everyone did whatever the feth they wanted everyone would be happy (those that arnt happy would likely be killed by others or themselves, natural selection FTW!).
In addition to this i believe it is the duty of every man and woman on this planet to further the evolution of humanity rather than bathing in equallity and stagnancy, those who could not survive in the wild should not survive now and those who can should breed alot more.
Maybe it's like an idea broached in Babylon 5. We are the universe made manifest trying to understand itself. If that is the case then anyone of us only has a small part of the answer.

Life has no inherent meaning. You make your own meaning out of it. The question "what is the meaning of life" is a question asked by scared sheep who want to live a life for the purposes or meaning of another, like there is some kind of authority who can point and say "This is the meaning of life, if you do this, you win!" The meaning of my life is simply to experience it while it lasts, for if there is an afterlife i'd rather go there knowing I dont need to come back, and if there isn't (the most likely option) I'd rather not need one.
The answer like a few people have said is 42, too bad we don't know the question to the answer.

Nope, sex has been mentioned. Read the posts.
Also, this is not about answers Canonness Rory, this about peoples views. And THEIR answers. What do you intend to do? Party like mad? Life a wholesome life? Help poor people? Become a sex manic? What is your purpose here? (Or lack of one)

Exactly what im saying, life is what you make of it, it has no inherent meaning. The meaning of life is whatever answer satisfies you.
Me? I'm going to paint 40k models and bicker with people on the internet. I'm going to make lots of money doing a profession that I love (have yet to figure that one out), I'm going to find a loving husband, I am going to adopt a child, and I am going to die by fighting ninja-terrorists.
At least that's the plan. Still some bugs to work out (like where can I find some ninja-terrorists, or a loving husband for that matter )
My life is about the journey, not the destination.
