I remember seeing a thread somewhere and people were taking pictures of their models like this, but then using photoshop and making them look really realistic. I can't remember where though, but they looks awesome

I have added some mud to the Land Raider and touched everything up a bit more pics up in a day or two.
Does anyone have a suggestion on a good battle damage article or some tips?

GW released a book with tips for painting vehicles earlier this month. I only leafed through it in the store, but it looked quite good. It might be worth looking at.

Outstanding! Quite alot better than my first minis. The dreadnaught stands out to me. he looks like he's really been breecking fortresses
|
 The difference between commitment and involvement is like eggs and ham; the ckicken was "involved", the pig was "comitted".

Hmmm looks good, but i'd like to see some close up shots so i can see the detail of some of your centrepiece models.
Next time you take a picture chuck a background with a few lights and click away. The light and surroundings of these pics make all of the pictures a bit "reddish" imo.

Really nice work. Another good tip is to get a pin vice and some small diameter drill bits and drill holes in gun barrels. With macro-calibre weapons like bolters and suchlike it really makes them look effective and mean
|

A Phone Camera!? EEEEK! NO!
Before you buy anymore stuff, put some money into even just a cheap Digital camera with Macro settings!
Otherwise, I'd say that now, you should look back at your first picture, then look back at your last one, and admire how far you've come in only a month of practice.
