Since he does not actually have a power fist, just special rules, that "knife" means he gets an extra attack each assault, so not that useless. While I will get this model, I am thinking about using Inquisitor Lorr as Straken.

Azhag is suppose to look stupid. Constantly hearing two voices in your head is confusing. I love the look of the whole model. This was going to be a no brainer purchase for me. I was expecting a $50-$60 USD model, which would be in line with the rest of the WHFB army center pieces. $82 gives me pause. That's pretty expensive. I'm not sure I want to encourage this pricing habit. Who am I kidding. I'm going to buy it. I hated the last Azhag model and I love this one. My O&G army needs it's center piece. I'm just going to be pissed off about it

The Harker and Straken look amazing and they are priced appropriately. I wish I had an IG army to justify their purchases. Look like fun models to paint.

Only a "pause", $82 put it right out of my intentions to buy it. I am not in this world paying $82 for a metal model - there is just no way it meets my price to usefulness threshhold. It is undoubtable is going to be a pig to put together

2014 will be the year of zero GW purchases. Kneadite instead of GS, no paints or models. 2014 will be the year I finally make the move to military models and away from miniature games.

The New Romance wrote:Harker really rocks. He looks like a Space Marine without armor. Cool. However, why do Catachans always have to take their shirts off?

Because they have finely sculpted muscles that ripple when they yell orders and point dynamically. Ever see shirtless Cadians? I think not. If you did, you'd see flab and tattoos of scantily clad women of which even the sluttiest a Guardsmen could only dream about sleeping with. Plus, in the grim darkness of the far future there are only heroic men with medals, monocles, muscles, or any combination of the three. Everyone else is just fodder.

Nips do bother me on Straken though. Perhaps the robotic one house a laser similar to that of Yarrick's Bale eye. Imagine the look on an Ork's face as his opponents' nipples rain fire upon him. Even the real one is just... Weird... Looks like a hubcap... I feel I should unscrew it, if I ever decided to purchase the model...

I'm loving the Catachans, but the Azhag model's got too damn much going on, I barely even noticed there was an Orc in there somewhere.

Yeah, of course, but is there a lot of war going on on Catachan? As I understand, they keep being sent off-world to fight. And even if those places were as hot as their homeworld, everybody taking their shirts off wouldn't make sense. Where do they keep all their equipment without tactical vests or something akin? Do they have extra-large pockets on their cargo pants? In real-world places were it's rather hot the inhabitants don't run around half-naked all day because long, comfy-cut shirts actually keep you cooler than a bare chest, plus you avoid sunburn. And ugly insects, which should be plenty on Catachan and other deathworlds.

I understand the Catachans' urge to show off their remarkable bodies, but why can't GW sculpt at least a few dressed models?
