Wow, those are amazing!
The buzz around the skaven release is a fairly good example that all that has to happen for us to stop whinging and start drooling is quality product.
Good job, GW, this stuff is awesome.

We allready had the all plastic Corpse Cart and now these. These models are just screaming to be the base for a Chaos Daemons Nurgle conversion for Epidemius or Ku'Gath or a Herald...
Inspiring models.

I got the book in last week and have been drooling over the new models. I really like the possibilities of using the plastic parts in the furnace/bell model. Hope that it's coming out in December. It's not on my list of the Oct/Nov releases.
A Skrolk list with 5 units of plaugue monks, 3 Plaugepriests on PlagueFurnaces in the units. a Plauge Catapult are the way I might want to go, just for the modeling and painting.

Are there other ways to add plague furnace / doom wheel outside of the allotted slots?
Whats the content in the battle force?

My books at the shop, I'll check it tomorrow. But from what I recall, doomwheel is a rare, plague furnaces are an upgrade to a plauge priest, which is a hero slot. The bell is an upgrade for a greyseer, as before. Battleforce info that I have says "55 models", and no breakdown. I expect it will have the new clanrats, SV, and a doomwheel. One could hope though for the bell/furnace.

Hmm.. actually I think it's two 20 men regiments of clan rats, one 20 strong regiment of plague monks, 2 rat ogres with handler and 6 giant rats with handler.

Yea I love them I just want a mix of old and new models.I loved the whole Plague Monks,Clan Rats and 2 rat Ogres you got that was a nice Battalion.
I love the new sculpts I think I came across wrong when I wrote that one plus side is that the blasted tails are on the Clanrats moulded on that was the only downside with the old multiparts.
And Plastic Stomvermin yes please matron.!
I just want the old Battalion before it goes OOP.

It's already OOP. None of the skaven boxes are still available to order. That said, there's still a bunch in various stores. I've got a couple of them on my shelf.

Cool Cool the main FLGS in my city centre may hold a few or the one near my City Centre may have to pick one up end of month.
All in all am glad that Stormvermin,Screaming Bell and Plague Furnace are all plastic.
Anyone heard of any other plastics..?? (dont want wishlisting though)

Really? There's a blow... still 68 miniatures in one battalion box would be pretty good going I guess. I just like the Stormvermin and Doomwheel more than I like Plaguemonks and Rat Ogres.

Yea I would prefer the Stormvermin over at least one of the units a Doomwheel would work as well but yea thats wishing I guess.

Still, thats 4 ~$30 boxes for the price of a battleforce, so if you don't have any Skaven models at all yet, it might be a pretty cool deal. -It also has no skryre models in it.

2x 20 Clanrats and 1x 20 Plague Monks are a given, as they're standard boxes and bulk out the army. The 4th as Rat Ogres isn't bad, actually, but what are the options?
- Doomwheel -- a Rare that can't be taken in quantity.
- Plague Furnace / Screaming Bell -- Character-only, so no quantity there either
- Stormvermin -- actually, this would have been good, to emphasize numbers, but GW wouldn't be able to charge a big premium on them.
So it comes back to the Rat Ogres.

I guess you are encouraged to run that as one big unit of clanrats, as opposed to 2 units of 20? So this boxed set is 1 core and 2 special? I wonder if that is as much a deal force-org wise as it is monetarily ps: That looks like $140 American for those sets individually. What do battleforces go for these days? $110?
