What an improved re-design. While I would have been happy to get the earlier version, I'm thrilled about this one.

Under the couch

Yup, that's actually looking quite promising. If they can get the heads to turn out halfway decent, these will be worth a look.

So far, the fleshy bits and draped cloth seem to have been WF's main weaknesses... the coat on this guy is a huge step forwards.

Of course, that's still just a render. Can't really say much until we see the actual moulded product.

Right.

Get these guys to make gun holding arms.

Get minimax or some other company producing cheap las-gun-alikes.

buy heads from west wind or pig iron, bodies and arms from these guys, guns from whichever company is smart enough to make the 'futuristic laser rifles'.

PROFIT!

Much better than the old version.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Um you do know they actually will come with guns and gasmask heads right? They're not just selling torsos...

No I didn't!

Lets hope those guns are 'futuristic laser rifles'...

And a couple of choices of helmet/mask design.

Actually from what I have read they are going to come with a variety of 4-5 weapons with some being solid amuntion and some being energy weapons. It sounds great to me, as I think there would be many imperial worlds that would still use solid ammo or maybe even use las power to project solid ammo if nothing else than for the fact that the wounds force bleed out more quickly.

These look awesome. Maybe a renegade conversion? Mixed with tomb king heads/I.G pieces?

With luck their next Sci-Fi project is Armed Civilians which can make anything from post-apocalyptic survivors, to criminal gangs, to near future rebels/terrorists.

And of course all sorts of Chaos renegades.

The new poses/stance gives me hope.

And makes me rethink about my DKOK models...

Now... the head and guns.. and such.. mhmh.

wonder how those will be.\

EDIT: Acutally, I dont like how the turnbacks look - it doesn't expose the inner leg/boot as much. Just seems to be... just not matching how my DKOK look heh.

These could even make interesting Trenchers or Long Gunners for Warmachine. Head quality is such a non issue thanks to Pig Iron and West Wind.

Firing/aiming poses and a few advancing poses would really give these guys some personality. I like that recent render.

Something looks a bit odd with the right hand set of legs. I"m sure you should see more of the left leg rather than a MASSIVE turnback... though that could simply be a perspective thing from the direction the render's camera is pointing. I do really like the left hand render though

The problem is that the coat doesn't drape properly. On the right leg, the coat doesn't pull from the left button. Nor does it hang properly from where it's pinned.

This is the case with each sculpt.

Yeah, they don't look right. They might want to consider not having the pinned-up flaps on the coats if this is the best their 3d "sculptors" can do.

The supply does not get to make the demands.
