I really like the looks of these but they do a "smaller" 28mm so I hope they look good up next to the current IG line.

Tehy said they would upsize them 10% to meet the 'industry standard' 28mm for science fiction and fantasy.

That looks great.

What are you talking about? They're Space Marines, which are heroic. They need to be able to do all the heroic stuff. They fight aliens and don't afraid of anything. -Orkeosarus

In comparison to plastic Cadians and Catachans, yeah. Next to metals such as Steel Legion, they fit right in other than that silly correctly proportioned hands and weapons thing.

Talking about silly proportions, I spent a few minutes comparing an old IG plastic figure with a 1/35 scale plastic figure.

I found the heads were about the same size. The hands and feet were larger on the IG. The torso was about the same size but shorter on the IG. The bottom and legs were much shorter. The IG figure is overall much shorter than the 1/35th figure and similar in bulk.

Bear in mind the nominal scale of 28mm is 1/56.

This looks very, very promising!

The 'first draft' left me on the fence.

If they manage to pull this off, I'm definitely getting some. (A lot?)

These plus West Wind British helmeted heads with gasmask = win.

I has no photoshop-fu (or access at the office) so perhaps some bright sparks could do some photoshoping of this body with the westwind heads and the pig iron heads (any others that might spring to mind as well).

Something like this, though I think I made the head a bit large.

It would look better with the arms attached.

I don't know the real life dimensions of the body and head so this is just a rough sketch.

Thanks Kilkrazy.

I agree the head is probably too large, those WW heads are slightly smaller than GW standard.

Oh dear. That is way too promising.
I really want a greatcoat guard army. Really a LOT. Don't do this to me! I have no money!
They'll still be selling these in a year when I get a real job, right?

Those look really nice. Still not thrilled with the body armor, but it is pretty enough that I am well pleased! I could definitely see those being an adjunct local militia platoon for my Fornaxian boys!

These look great. I do not know what the other thread is called so I was wondering if someone could link to the site to order these and maybe put up some prices.
