Nice and simple. Background is reminiscent of the monolith portal, which I'm sure us the effect you were going for. I don't like the type, though. Plain black might work a bit better. As it stands, the white on the text just makes it look grainy, like it was chopped out of MS Paint and plopped on top of the background without being properly cleaned up, first.

As for the model... wow. The warrior coming through the portal is an amazing touch. Even without the glow, I love this monolith for the subtle snow and ice effects. Awesome job with the paint. The warrior and lighting are 20 pounds of icing on the 10 pound cake.

My LGS does (or did) sell glow-in-the-dark dice.....

On this one i pop off the top but i have a new design where i magnitize a whole side with rare earth magnets so it comes right off,

I am actually working on lighting individual necrons right now!!

You know it's funny as all of the necrons armies I have seen no one has ever had one stepping out of the monolith, which really it cool to me. Great work on that and look forward to seeing if you pull of the lighting on models themselfs.

I just bought a massive order of LEDs so ill be starting the individual minis here soon.

haha my friends suggested I do this, but because the liths I got were whole when I got em (in a trade) I didn't wanna pull it apart and risk damaging it... but man, I have to say, great paint job and it really does look great!

That is a masterful bit of modeling genius you have there. That hands down is the coolest lith I have ever seen and is possibly the coolest work with LEDs I have seen as well.
