I had some 40k questions and I had heard that this is the place to go. I also was probably lurking for a bit reading rumors and so forth.

News & Rumors, back in the days of Portent.net. Then I lost my account and was busy off doing what guys in their late teens do (aka boozing and womanising), picked up the hobby again when I was 20 and found my way back to dakka last year.

While I was a member during the ezboard days (I totally forgot about being a member even, so long ago), I joined this time so I could be the first to post in the Intro forum.

I found DAKKA by searching for converted Ork pics on google for ideas. I found a thread on there oh Jamsessionein doing his orky awesomeness and then ended up browsing the site for over an hour.

It also coincided with me wanting to talk about something besides Space Marines, and leaving Bolter and Chainsword. People tend to be a little thicker skinned around these parts. For those who aren't so thick skinned - I enjoy hearing them throw insults at me just because I said their post was illegible.
