Wow! I can't believe I haven't looked in here before. That banner rocks, and the skull face really suits. Looking at your most recent warrior compared to the painting in the first post, it looks like you've improved heaps! I love all of it.

The wallrunning Wyches look fantastic. What a dynamic way of showing them. What material did you base them with?

Oh, and I <3 the sniper Warrior.

Its GF9 Plaster, stolen from my stash. And he has gotten much better, though gotten little done quantity wise.

Lol. Thanks WM. It's true. I did actually win a game. I post pics tomorrow (maybe) of my archon and the warriors I have gotten finished I have 6 of them these days.

I know its been a while since the last update and you may be a bit dissapointed over this one because I havent gotten much done. Sorry I work slowly and get distracted easily. But Even though I havent gotten many models done, I did get 1 1/2 HQs done. and started a whole new army..... I recently got some orks in a trade and decided to stop working on my eldar and I would like to sell them. (which if anyone is interested pm me) ANYWAYS I just started painting said orks in evil sunz colors because DA RED ONES GO FASTA! unfortunatly I wont be able to finish my deffcoptas for a little bit as I just ordered my paints, along with an oiler grot, yesterday. So for now I will just post some WIP pics along with my Dark eldar.

First off thank you.
Secondly are you guys planning on making some different arms and heads? I could really use a liquifier gun to go on one.

I'll probably be doing some sort of gun/sprayer not sure exactly what yet but I'll let you know when I can get something together.

The agoniser MAY be a power weapon, but IMHO I do not really think that it is a lightning field on it, plasa makes it seem like it is a poisonous weapon.

Is that a good or bad thing? And it is a power weapon that always wounds on a 4 plus, so Its sorta poisoned weapon i guess?

Yes, that is how it is described in the codex, coated in toxins IIRC, since I do not have my copy presently, so yes, some vicious looking fluids on the whip itself seem to be more than appropriate.

Ah well cool then. If that is the case I meant to do that. Lol. If I ever use an electrocorrosive whip I'll probably do a green lightning effect that will hopefully look more like lightning

Just got a leman russ battle tank in a trade and figured that I would turn it into a looted wagon. Looted wagons are the main reason I like the orks. They are just so fun to make. Here is what mine looks like so far

The turret, mostly finished. Has a Boomgun and a Rokkit Launcha



The front of the russ. I like how the teeth came out. Still have to get a vehicle sized big shoota to replace the Lascannon.

You may have noticed that the side of the leman russ is normal. That is because I have no idea waht to do with it aand thought I would ask dakka for some help on this. I kinda want to do something to represent the armour plates upgrade and I am going to add grots to the vehicle somewhere. (I love those little guys)

Thanks bunnygurl! I added another glyph on the other side of the turret and made some exhaust pipes coming out of the back. Also added some rivets to the plates on the barrel. SOOOOOO much plasticard and tubes. So fun though

I really like what you've done with the turret and gun. Looks like you're pretty handy with the plasticard.

Impressed with the Dark Eldar. The sliding Wyches reminded me of Wood Elf Wardancers for some reason

@Wazzdig Dagga- Thanks. I had to ask dakka for some tips before starting on this project.

@Arakasi- Thank you. That is quite a compliment coming from you. I love the plasticard work that you do.

And now for an update. Started wroking on the side armor a little while adding somme rivets all around. God I hate making rivets. Also added another medium sized glyph to the turret and put on some smokestacks and made a spot next to the engine for a grot with a wrench. Still have to get the grot though.


Still have to change the front weapon to a big shoota. Getting the bits from a buddy of mine next time I see him.


Have to add either some more armor or a glyph or something to this. Dont want to make a door because I want to to have the 'Ard case upgrade so the only access point is in the rear.


This is where the little grot with the wrench is going. He will represent my grot riggers.


And finally the (pretty sure) finished turret.

Also I need some help. Not sure weather or not to add roughh spikes to the tracks like the one in the codex has. The tracks seem a little plain ATM. Thoughts on this?

I'm thinking of using Ork glyphs or Teef on my tracks - when I eventually get to them...

Where would you get the teef from? Planning on making your own glyphs fo rthe tracks?

Planning on making my own tracks! But, if you make Teef similiar to what you have already, but smaller, and in two sizes - put the larger ones on the outside of each track link, the smaller ones inside - like the Ork grin on each track

Just a small update. Nothin huge accomplished here. Just a few more details added. More rivets mostly. And I am running out of plastic rod to make those rather rapidly (NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!) but I did just order more so it is all good. Tomorrow I should be getting thhe bits to finish the weapons on the wagon. I tried to make the Ork teef on the tracks but I am just not that skilled with an Exacto and plasticard. Sorry Arakasi, maybe for the Skullhamma I am planning. I think on the wagon I am going to do spikes on the tracks.

Out of curiousity does anyone know what the chinork warkopta's weapons and upgrades are?I dont need the rules just the weapons and upgrades so I can make it WYSIWYG. I plan on making one soon but do not have the money to buy Imperial Armour 8 ATM.

Looking at the picture, it looks like its basic loadout is:
One Wing Mounted Big Shoota
Two Wing Mounted Deffguns

It also looks like it can take the variety of bigbommz for their orky munitions, BUT IIRC its primary purpose is for troop transport.

Well alrighty then. Unless I hear otherwise That is what I will model it with. Any idea how many troops? The picture is 5 or 6 but that seems way to low for an ork transport

If I am on the correct pattern of thought I would imagine that the chinork is a super-heavy, twenty figures who would be sporting a 28mm base, would seem to be about right bieng that it is based upon on a chinook helicopter.
