Has anyone else noticed that all of the cutest ones look like anime? Even the chibi marine, which isn't anime, but looks like it should be. Damn the japanese makes sickeningly cute stuff.

I think I have to make an army of chibi marines next. I wonder what a chibi Dred looks like?

Yea the original creator (I cant remember who it was) just used left over SM pads.

More Dark Sword minis. They've a huge line of anthropomorphic small fuzzy animals, with a few slippery ones thrown in. I largely skipped them in my own Dark Sword post as they're mostly a bit too....realistic, if that's the right word, for my tastes.

Wargaming models of chibi human characters are never cute. The one posted looked like a deformed baby with tits. But most Wargaming anime miniatures are equally hideous, the monstrosity posted by Malfred standing as proof. Their eyes are made of nightmares and cancer.

As for what is cute?

Beakies. I like the look, but they really do not look that threatening in design. When I see beakies I tend to get reminded of those crows from Dumbo. Not quite cute per say, but when Space Marines reminds you of cartoon characters from Disney films there is something wrong.
