Terminators. I run a 10 man squad with a cyclone missile launcher and assault cannon because it's fun to abuse the armor save.

Buy Imperial War Bonds

Killing daemons, heretics, witches, worse witches, mindless robots, traitors, hungry bugs, green skins and space communists needs your monetary support.

Land Speeder Storm. For a while I was running three, I like them that much! (It would obviously have to contain scouts though, otherwise a regular speeder would do the job.)

Thanks,

This was originally in dakka discussions. I hit the alert mod button, stating that it should be in 40k general discussion, and BAM! a few moments later, it was moved!

I am sentimental toward my AoBR dread, which was lovingly but skill-lessly modified by me when I first started out to be venerable and have an assault cannon and missile launcher. It looked so bad I declared that it would be known as the "Ghettonaut". I have cleaned it up at lot since then and it is actually almost presentable, but the name has stuck. As for my favorite model, I am partial toward Lightning Claw Terminators and Land Raiders (Crusader or Regular, either way).

Black Widow Assault Cadre 2000 Points (Under Renovation- Playable) Win-4 Lose-5 Draw-1
Storm Angels 1st Company 2500 Points (DA Codex) (Under Renovation - Playable) Win-3 Lose-4 Draw-3
Corsairs of Fate 1750 Points (Under Construction - Playable) Win-2 Lose-3 Draw-1
Protectorate of Menoth 11 Points (Project Delayed Indefinitely) Win-1 Lose-3 Draw-0
Imperial Guard Regiment (Unnamed) 1000 Points (Project Delayed Indefinitely)
Cygnar 25 Points (Planned) Win-0 Lose-0 Draw-0

Last Game(s): The Spearhead Annihilation Battle between my Storm Angels First Company (Dark Angels) and Skystompa's Waagghh! (Blood Angels) resulted in a MAJOR VICTORY!

Mesopotamia. The Kingdom Where we Secretly Reign.

For looks? (Okay, and I think it's pretty good too) The Thunderfire Cannon. The Techmarine alone is worth the price of the box.

Strategically? Sternguard. In a Drop Pod with a messload of combi-meltas. Oh god, how I crave them.

All around awesomeness? Vulkan. Buffs your army something fierce and isn't a slouch in CC all by himself.

Drink deeply and lustily from the foamy draught of evil.

Its a toss up between the Land speeder (and all of its variations) and a Terminator assault squad. Even with the assault squad on foot, both have paid dividends beyond their reach!

My least favorite so far has been the Devastator squad...perhaps I just have them ill-equipped though.

4250 points of Blood Angels goodness, sweet and silky W12-L6-D4
1000 points of Teil-Shan (my own scheme) Eldar Craftworld in progress
800 points of unassembled Urban themed Imperial Guard
650 points of my do-it-yourself Tempest Guard
675 points of Commoraghs finest!

Lord Helmet - "I bet she gives great helmet."

My favourite unit, Cassius + 10 Sternguard (new box and TWV's mixed), favourite single model...

The power armoured Chaplain with Crozius and Power Fist, just looks so hard, and before fists and chaplains got nerfed, he punched out the deciever for me, gotta love the guy!

EDIT: and that reminds me to use him in my next friendly

A dead one

My necrons and orks both agree on that..

If I was to choose from any SM codex I'd have to say probably Grey Knight Terminators. They are awesome looking, powerful and hard to beat down. I used to own a number of them but never painted them, as I was pretty sure I couldn't do the sculpts justice

From the SM codex i'd go for Techpriests. I love the steampunk thing they have going..

Instead of saying bump, just cite another unit you like.

I must say I really like the techmarines. For a few points you have a guy walking (or riding) around with two extra power fist attacks, a TL plasma pistol and a flamer that looks like a boss while doing so.

On that note, where is my named techmarine in the codex? And no, that one upgrade guy doesn't count. The codex needs some iron hands love.
