I keep all my paints, brushes in a GW case so I can just relax on my bed with a brush in hand and watch some TV or listen to the radio.

I watch TV (something comedic which entertains but does not require much attention). I also am lucky to have a job where I have quite a bit of time to myself, and frequently paint at work.

I have a reasonable collection of audio books, Terry Pratchett's Discworld, Stephen King's Dark Tower (all 7 volumes), Phillip Pullman's His Dark Material, Douglas Adams Hitchhikers Guide, Lord of the Rings +loads of others that I listen to. They prove perfect as background listening as they don't detract my attention

I listen to music, generally up beat stuff I know the words to. That way I can get through ten odd models in a day. It helps keep the addiction of getting things perfect in check!

It's an amazing website which is essentially internet radio that plays songs similar to what you select. It's pretty awesome. One of the best things to come out of the zeroes (2000s).

Just google Pandora, and then type in your favorite artist in Pandora.

I like to throw on some tunes and watch youtube videos on my laptop . Usually videos that aren't extremely funny, though. I get distracted too often, so I just watch Backyard FX vids or something of the like .

Well that sucks, I just find out about Pandora and its possible awesomeness and it turns out that due to legal fluff its only available in the US. Oh well.

I tend to watch movies themed around what I'm painting. While painting Catachans I watched Rambo, Predator, etc. Now that I'm on to Steel Legion I've been watching German-centric WW movies. That way I keep excited about the models and paint schemes I choose.

I like to paint while watching TV. I've gravitated towards reruns of That 70's Show because it is funny, yet you don't have to pay attention to every thing going on to get most of it. I'm hoping to break out the new paint station and see how great it is for painting in front of the tv, but I haven't painted in a couple of days, so it's still in the box on the table.

painted: 12 dryads,9 glade guard,2 glade guard scouts.
assembled but unpainted: 2 glade guard and the lord's bowman, 8 glade guard scouts, sexy elf lord
in the box: , 8 glade riders, , one female spellsinger, Orion, Ariel, the faerie queen. SOB immolator, 15 sisters.

I listen to music. If I'm going to watch something, I'm going to watch it, so music is the natural and enjoyable choice for background noise, regardless of what I'm working on.

I usually sit in front of my computer and watch stuff on hulu or browse these forums during drying time. I tend to watch watch whatever is really on (community, office, human target, it's always sunny in Philadelphia, high school of the dead, ect.) as long as it's entertaining to watch, or mildly motivating

Music and TV are often the most common answers. And I paint squads at a time just so that its a simple progression and the repetition seems to help me paint better.

I dont really need much to help me paint although, Silence kills me and I suppose I'm just to ADD to have nothing going on, The only time this doesnt apply is when i Airbrush. I Do that where i dont have any distractions at all except the hum of my compressor.

So basically the same as Last.fm, i have discovered some really good bands using that site/xbox player.

Yeah, just generally listen to music, tho i spend WAY to long chosing what to listen to on iTunes. If not i put something on the tv im not all to interested in so i dont get distracted, i just want it for background noise really.
