Didnt Vin Diesel also admit to playing WoW as a tauren shaman between making movies?

If memory serves me correct, there are multiple Will Smith movies where he is reading or has White Dwarf mags in the camera shot. Some of the shots in I am Legend in his home have a few things in the background.

Yeah, but they're pretty much only well known to 40k fans anyway, so I'm not sure that counts that much. They even used the Rogue Trader art on one of their old albums.
I dunno, I think Bolt Thrower is kinda well known in metal .. I hear em every so often on Sirius LiquidMetal and my cable TV's Music Choice metal station.
Gwar is another one.. I think they even mention some here and there chaos gods in their songs
Robin Williams - Eldar and Skaven
Vin Deisel - D&D
Edward Woodward - historical wargaming
Vague rumours surround others, and some take up gaming for a while. The above three were/are really into it.
n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

Kurt Schilling plays ASL(A historical WW2 simulation boardgame). He actually bought out Avalon Hill and turned it into Multi Man Publishing. Also I heard the lead singer of My Chemical Romance plays 40k.

So does anyone know anyone famous who plays?
HG Wells invented a toy soldiers game but thats the only one I know.

Didn't HG Wells come up with the concept of modern wargaming as we know it?
Chris Kluwe - Punter for the Min. Vikings plays Nids. I met his brother maybe a year ago at one of the GW stores. He said he knew quite a few other NFL players that were into it but didn't give up any names. Guess he doesn't want to blow their tough guy cover

The Guvernator was rumoured to have visited GW Oxford Street (London) and purchased a few grands worth of Ultramarines. First heard this about 10 years ago, no idea if it is true, but he does have kids.

How do you promote your Hobby? - Legoburner "I run some crappy wargaming website "
At the very end of the movie "Enemy of the State" (1998), Will Smith is sitting on his couch with his wife and son. The son is reading a White Dwarf. "GAMES DAY" is plainly seen on the back page.
Also, I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Jay and Silent Bob. They actually opened and operate a game/comic shop!
I have heard Robin Williams is a wargamer before. Last I heard, he played Dwarfs in WHFB.
If it counts, Mandy Patinkin (best known as Inigo Montoya in the Princess Bride) is an off-the-hook model railroader with a large layout in his house. According to the 2nd link there (model railroader link), Neil Young is also a model railroad enthusiast.
Then, lets not forget Godzilla's biggest, baddest, most awesome nemesis, ME. A wargamer. Especially wargames that ruin buildings and stuff.
I saw recently this list in a Spanish wargaming blog.
Cargad.com wrote:*Angelina Jolie – Aficionada a los juegos de mesa. Algunos rumores sin confirmar (y que yo no creería) aseguran que tiene un ejército de Eldars Oscuros.

He invented the game end of the spectrum while von Rienitz's Kriegsspiel (1812) invented the simulation end. Most modern wargames lie somewhere on that spectrum.
Kriegsspiel is in print and available from Too Fat Lardies.
I keep researching for small scale maps of modern cities and countryside in order to play SF Kriegsspiel. They are hard to find, though. The best I have got so far is a 1/5000 scale map of the disabled friendly zone in central Yokohama.

Kevin Smith's podcasts have mentioned once or twice that Mewes has had various infatuations with Warhammer or LotR, mainly buying and assembling minis. Kevin Smith's opinion seems to be that this is one case where it really is better than crack.
Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

The original East Coast store(which was used for several of his movies) is closed now, though. Only the West Coast store inside Lazer Blazer DVD remains.
Also, someone did mention Jason Mewes(aka. Jay, aka. the Letter J) on the first page.
