Zombie Necrons? Epic. =o

They have the genestealer back set of arms and that's the theme I will go with if I get necrons they will have a zombie colour scheme and customized with loose robes or somthing ^^

Dark Eldar, fast but fragile, or Chaos Marines with a few Daemons thrown in (because no one's going to argue with you when you have a Bloodthirster)

Well, I do like Khorne. Sweeping across the battlefield choppin' heads off whilst crying out in rage for the glory of the Blood god.

But I'm still leaning towards DE methinks, I once had a Khorne army which my father threw away, can't be bothered to start it all over again. >.< He mistook them for common toy soldiers, when I told him what the army had cost he looked completely shocked.

And yeah I think I know where the rest is, it's probably in a box burried someplace around mom's house, I'll have to go get it when I go there next.

I'm thinking along these lines at the moment. Just keep in mind that my mind can get very messy, but that's a draft of it. =)

So model-wise it'll be Dark Eldars, I haven't decided any colors yet or anything, but... Yeah, that comes later.

Hmm this tread has prooven dangerous to my army selection, I migth just have to jump the band wagon after all. And start a new one.... There goes any plans for vacation

I'm not sure about wether I should pick Tzeentch or Malice though, I think Malice is the one that feels more 'attractive' at first glance, but there's a bit too little facts about him. Tzeentch's 'gifts' would probably take shape in magic which would give them sort of a craftworld eldar feel, and that's really the one thing I miss in the Dark Eldar, real proper spellcasting.

Again, it's nothing with on-board game impact, they'll be fielded by the rules of DE as normal, but I find the game so much more amusing when there's more depth in it and you have a proper story background for your own army as well as their characters and everything - and I do love writing stuff.

ye that does sound good, although you could have Exodite eldar and just use both DE and carftworld eldar models in one army, but pick army rules from one codex.

Well it's not the Craftworld models I'm after =P Except perhaps the Howling Banshees which IMHO look more gladiatorial and proffesional than the wyches... Maybe because I've got trouble with the male wyches in their outfits. =P

I also think those look better alongside the Kabalite warriors, but we'll see how the army list looks before I start thinking about model-swapping and converting. =)

I didn't read most of the posts, but evil armies are

Nids, Orks, Chaos, Daemons, Necrons

Nids/Orks = Swarm
Chaos = Elite
Daemons and Necrons I don't know anything about, though I think Necrons would be Elite as well. I'm starting a Chaos army as a secondary project for when I get bored of my Orks/Guardsmen/Arms of Corax

Demons can be swarm or elite depending on how you build your force, either using like Khorne Bloodletters that all run around with PWs or like Slaanesh swarms that are a little weaker in some aspects, but faster and cheaper, Tzeentch which are like.. Uh... Great, can't find my Codex at the moment, but IIRC they're rather expensive compared to Slaaneshi Daemonettes. Then we've got Nurgle, I think nurglings can be used as troops(?), in which case you can swarm, or use the... Plaguebearers I think they're called? Kinda like, tough but slow, non-swarms.

Then you've got tons of different elites and whatnots, Khorne Juggernaughts which are very eletist, Slaanesh Daemonettes on weirdoe-steeds, uhm... And stuff.

So it can be just about whatever you want it to be.

Necrons are -very- eletist, their normal troopers costs around as much as a CSM/SM, and whenever you want something bigger, it'll cost a bunch. AFAIK the Monolith is even more costy than a Land Raider or a fully pimped Leman Russ.

But every Necron unit is pretty much always worth their cost in destruction they can cause if used correctly. Destroyers have their name for a reason.

Earlier mentioned, but Raccoon left out just about the most evil race in game - Dark Eldar. =p

Just started a new necron army, been pretty fun so far, didnt do to much yet though with it in case things change alot with the new codex! and the space wolves are quite obviously the most evil army, because they suck, just kidding, i just dont like them because i think thousand sons are sweet

The reasons I don't play Necrons:

a) Too few special characters, and the C'Tan aren't really that.... Individual, they're gods, I'd like to see more necronthyr-characters with their own specializations/malfunctions making them unique.
b) Too few vehicles (Just one in the entire army...), I like APCs/tanks
c) They has no battlecry! (What's more satisfying than watching an army of Berzerkers/Orks turning your oponent into gibblets whilst shouting on the top of their lounges?) (Okay, bringing down a tank perhaps...)

sure they do, you can just make beeping noises and freak people out while your hordes of living metal warriors mercilessly erase the living from existence!

Ooooor put in speakers on my troops with the sound of a Dalek screaming 'EXTERMINATE!' and play on repeat. *noddle*

That, or the super Mario theme.

Put a little speaker inside of your monolith that can be remotely turned on to play the tune everytime it rakes in the kills, not only would that be hilarious, but it would tick off opponents!
