I really hope you reconsider closing this blog, I too have enjoyed following it so far.

I understand what you mean about quality painters getting more interest in their blogs because they have an audience who not only come from regular blog followers but people who cruise the galleries too. Because you (like me) are still quite new here and not many people know you, as you make more friends here so more people will follow your blog and the audience will grow. At least you have had a couple of regular viewers, that means you are doing better than I am lol.

Seriously though, don't give up, it would be a shame to lose a blog like this.

12 days is not a very long time to give your blog a chance - I would highly recommend giving it a bit longer. Not everyone can be a Roleplayer or Greydeath - and if we all gave up based on that, well there wouldn't be the wealth of choice here on Dakka to appreciate. I don't usually follow Marine blogs - but I do follow friends' blogs, and came across yours a week or so ago via troy_tempest. Just because I haven't commented previously doesn't mean I have no interest - you will always find there are more lurkers than commentors. Carry on long enough though, and you will slowly coax them out of the shadows

Actually your blog was doing a lot better than mine, its currently one of the ones being highlighted on the Dakka front page today (dont think mine was ever listed there) and mine hasnt been posted on by anyone other than me for almost 2 weeks, but it takes times to get the kind of following someone like Gitsplitta has, you just gotta stick with it.

Most importantly, visit other peoples threads introduce yourself, not only might you pick up some ideas along the way, but the more people who know who you are the more likely you are to pick up new followers.
