I like IHEARTLARGEBLASTTEMPLATES, for although obnoxious looking and taking up plenty of space, I can't help but to laugh at it sometimes when I pass over it.
I also like DashOfPepper, because things found in the spice rack are delicious.

Oh, if we're going into origins Cannerus in 40k terms is a Nurgle Chaos lord. I have a lame back story in the fiction area if you feel like digging. It also fits in a Slaaneshi way though

I like Killkrazy, but mostly because it's so different to his nature (AFAIK )
I like Morthai's Darkest Sin too.
Reds8n is another favourite (I missed it the first fifty times I read it though.)
Albatross always stands out too, but I don't know why.
Oh and Dogma is a good 'un too, given the poster it's attached to.
I've always liked Semper Tyrannis, the guy with the picture of Dr. Strangelove. But for some reason, I can't find his name at the bottom...
Also, excuse me for being off-topic, but when I look at the giant list of names at the bottom of the forum index, didn't we use to have a whole bunch more mods?
How come my username doesn't get a look in? A famous quote from a former England football manager that inspired the Alan Partridge TV series. Can't get much better than that! Check out the following video, which contains foul and/or abusive language. The f word

Guys, please. Stop talking about your own usernames. Threads like this are more interesting if you post about other people's usernames. And less narcissistic.
I always liked A Black Ram. Why? haven't the foggiest. Maybe it's because it sounds so normal n such an odd context, a black male sheep on a W40K forum. Maybe it just rolls off the tongue well.

Da boss, I agree, but I want people to know the unique story behind my unsername and its legacy that survives to this day. Mine is not a random collection of letters, my username points to a dark chapter in English football history that must never be forgotten and most importantly, never be repeated!

Chowderhead wrote:I like Chowderhead. It has a very special meaning for me. It's both a nickname, an insult, and a hidden meaning inside it.
My friends across the pond call me "Chowderhead", as I come from a land known for it's chowder. This is also an insult, as in "Your head is full of chowder!".
Chowderhead is a hidden meaning, as well. I am a chowder addict, and people notice that my head is... Large, shall we say?
Oh, and my favorite name is probably ChiliPowderKeg, because it makes no sense.
I like Chowderhead...

Monster Rain wrote:The question mark is the correct method of using that statement, according to canon.
We have canon on statements unrelated to wargaming now? Meh, should've expected as much from the internet. Darn you internet, you work in mysterious and confusing ways.
First off, it's unique. Is it meaningless? Does it mean something in a language I don't know but can kind of recognize? The trick is that you can't tell -- it's evocative. This is the same trick that George Lucas used on every generation since 1977 with the name "Obi-wan Kenobi." Something about that name, which as far as I know is nonsense, has the air of a samurai general or a zen master -- or, in the case of Obi-wan Kenobi himself, pretty much both rolled up into one. "Kanluwen" has similar connotative value to me: it makes me think of Mortal Combat (Liu Kang) and so has the requisite implication of asskickery, but the "wen" part kind of evens it out and puts me back in mind of zen. One day, I will run a session of the Star Wars Saga Edition campaign and name a Jedi NPC "Master Kanluwen."
Hah. Oh you're going to love how it came about then.
Spoiler:
It was the randomly generated name of my Wood Elf Rogue back when I played EverQuest in middle school.
Since then, it's been what I use for forums, and my junk email account is titled the same.
I've always been a fan of Kid Kyoto and Kilkrazy. They're wacky, silly names and amuse me greatly whenever I see them.
I always think of Kid Kyoto being someone who you would feasibly run into on the street wearing a tophat.
Haha that is hilarious. I did the same thing with my Wood Elf druid, but got the name Lolwen.
Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and hear the lamentations of the Eldar!
