My Broadsides would be great friends with your Zoanthrope. They can all swap stories of the tanks they've failed to even graze.

CSM Havocs. They are pointless to even get considering we have Oblits as another Heavy Support choice.

I also think gretchin stink as well but I know what their role is: to hold objectives. I like charging them when I play with them because its hilarious when they get smacked off the table lol.

From personal experience I usually lose to obliterators more often. A lot more often.

Least successful I've ever seen, Mandrakes, definitely. For their points cost the fact that my Tau army tend to beat the living daylights out of them in CC is just embarrassing for everyone involved... but that's not my personal least successful

Well they don't have saves. Except an inv. (4+)

Swooping Hawks, basically they had a chance of being a once per turn bolter strength large blast. They didn't really die, but they didn't really do much of anything else anyway.

Scouts with snipers. Kill about one thing per game as I can't roll to wound very well :( However, my friend is very good at using them

Tankbustas have the most annoying ork rule, glory hog. Great unit but very very annoying rule.

I remember one Apoc battle,My nids and a Emperor Titan(my friends) vs orks,where I had them firing on the titan all game.It was nearly 14ft away from them.

I have a very hard time with Predators. So cheap, so much fire power, so cool looking, so much time painting right... yet almost always get one-shotted, first turn :(

Predators. Doesn't matter what the armament is, or what the target is. 2x HBs, an autocannon and a storm bolter into a guardsman blob in clear terrain? 2 fall over. 1x TLLC 2x LC at a ravager? Shaken.

Thats why my tankbustas stay in a trukk.
My opinion, tankbustas do better with pks and tankhammers than anything else, considering they hit on 5+.

love the models, the fluff. absolutely horrendous in game though. :(

For me, it's always been Vindicators. Even when I was running 2 or 3 in a list, they'd either all get shaken/destroyed/weapon blown off turn one, or get to fire one shot...which scattered completely.

It's weird though, I tend to have excellent (read: above average) luck everywhere else on the table. It's just when the scatter dice are rolled, my shots land nowhere near where I want them to land.

For me, it has been Warp Spiders.

Sometimes they work but I have better success with Pheonix Lords, including Baharroth.

On the flipside, take the Doom of Malantai, and deepstrike it in the middle of an infantry blob, or a transport blob. Either way, its aura still hits the units. And with that, you be packing 10 wounds and a STR 10 large blast in no time.



on topic, i have yet to make a unit of pyrovores last long enough to kill anything.

In my last two games, I played footdar with an Avatar. This guy is feared like hell so that my opponents shot him down at first sight (with sniper rifles and whatnot). Apropos, it was one draw (DA+IG) and one big win (DA).
