Restores wounds on multi-wound models. It specifically says a friendly model recovers a wound they lost earlier in the battle. Not recover 1 wound worth of model.

You can even put the same Augment on 1 unit more then once, 2x Wysaans on a Gor unit with beast banner horded with Primal Fury= 40 WS4 rerollable attacks at S6 with T6 in return not bad at all.

Pretty sure it means it can hit only 1 target per rank.

The lore of metal for having the best name.
I would love to see music themes puns in the next edition, something like "Curse of the men of Iron" or "Boots of Lead" or something cheesy like that.

Back to back games my friend played this weekend all of his core had Mark of Khorne, he has a wizard in a unit miscasts rolls a 4 loses 20 Chaos warriors from 2 different units. Next game same thing, don't think he lost quite as much but was still the wrath of Khorne no doubt.

Speaking of Burning Head, do you get a LOS! roll vs that? FAQ doesn't say either way, and as far as we know the only 'line' that is a 'template' is a cannon shot, so how close does 'determined as per a bouncing cannonball' hook up 'burning head effect' with 'single atom wide cannon template'?

Interesting, that'd never occurred to me- I thought it'd be just like a cannonball, and so a LOS would be granted... but maybe that's an assumption that's not actually spelled out anywhere.

Yeah, not clear enough to say either way. I'd be inclined to say no LoS, only because it makes the spell more interesting, and possibly useful.

I'm pretty sure one of the FAQs has the answer for this. No idea which one it is but it basically clarified that all magic which uses a template gets a LoS role. I think it was in relation to Purple Sun, but as its a cannon TEMPLATE the same should apply.

I'm gonna go ahead and say it doesn't allow for LoS just because they're isn't anything to support either way really and it makes the spell more useful.

Combo of Lore of Death and Lore of Shadow for DE is simply murderous.
The basic spell for Lore of Shadow drops a unit's Int by D3, and both Lores feature big area of affect 'Int-test or die' spells.
It's generally a decent shocker for Int 3-4 troops to be dropped to Int 1-2 before being hit with those unit-mulchers, or for Int 5 troops who generally don't sweat Pit and Sun to suddenly be taking decent casualties against them.

And that right there is why I prefer Shadow. Those debuffs are utter horror. Take Shadow AND Death? Yeah. They'll hold dice against the sniping or the PSoX and let you get off the Debuffs, only to cry when you crossbow them to death.
