Funny thing to do on L4D [if you own the server] Bind the tank music to a key, then at quiet moments press it and start firing like mad at something behind your team whilst screaming 'tank' on voice comms. |

I went one step further, But I haven't finished it yet!!

king- Lt Varras (with gene-seed container) (The most important guy on battle field??? )
Queen- grand master AZRAEL
Bishop- Marine in robe
Knight- jump pack dude
Tower- Deathwing termi
same other side but with Marneus Calgar as Queen
and normal termi as tower,
the board I picked up from the Wharehouse (Store like Walmart in USA) it was a (4 in 1) games board. chess board/draughts on glass top, then under this a backgammon board,
I just modelled a war-zone field/scene. (one side more like a trench)

Knights should be bikers in every army, I mean come on. The concept of a biker in 40K is analagous to mounted knights in Fantasy. Works for most armies, if not there is a suitable alternative, like Rough Rider for IG. Anyway, I'll do a few:

Rook - Terminator
Bishop - Assault Marine
Knight - Biker
Pawn - Scout
Eldar:

In chess the knight is the only piece that can JUMP over any piece... I can see what your saying about bikes but I've tried to do a "as close as i can Real chess set"
