Race of one eyed swamp people iirc

They got canned because they reproduced by stealing women I think so that was not good for marketing

But with Storm of Magic, they have returned a bit with other long lost races such as Zoats

Win! And I rest on my 'it's definitely not a Kroxigor laurels!'

What other PH stuff can they release?? Seems to me ther is only the Landspeeder left....

Anyhoo, the PH Pred, LR and Rhino will be added to my collection, as soon as I get around to painting the 100's of infantry, 3 drop pods, 10 dreads and 7 tanks I have waiting in queue already...

Shush you!

Calling them "Pre-Heresy" is a mistake, which bugs FW's guys to no end.

It's "Pre-Heresy" in the sense that it existed before the Horus Heresy, but if that's true then the Thunderhawk is "Pre-Heresy" as is the "current" Rhino and Predator. In FW's eyes, it's simply a different "pattern" of vehicle.

Now you're just being pedantic, so... you can shush!

They still really should release Pre-Heresy Terminator armor - that would be nice and make FW a lot of money...

Personally I'd like to see Forgeworld do, in the same way they have just done the regular armour patterns for marines, the following in various multipart kits.

The Original

The 2nd Variety

The 3rd Wave

Here they are lined up...

MGS - I'm not sure that those styles of Pre-Heresy Terminator Armor 'exist officially' anymore.

I love the "M&M" Terminator, but I won't be too sad if we get suits that look like this:

I really like the first terminator models, it would be great if they got an updated version from Forgeworld.

Although I think the 'Collected Visions' artwork is most likely to realised first, if the Contemptor is anything to go by.

Which it probably isn't.

I’m sure that this time last year no one thought the old-style Dreads would make a return, so I wouldn’t count out the ancient Terminators quite yet.

That said, those ancient Dreads did show up in the Sabretooth card-game artwork, whereas the Terminators are like the one you posted. Personally I hope for that type of Terminator (not the original prototype models). Friend of mine has an Iron Warrior army and every Terminator is converted to that Pre-Heresy style. Looks ace.

I am not sure I would pay for 'pre-heresy' terminator kits. Not at FW prices anyways. You can pull it off pretty darn well with Maxmini parts as is.

Yes, you can make some great ones with currently available bits, but as a huge Terminator fan I say bring on some FW pre heresy stuff...Im all for as much Termie stuff as I can get.

Actually Im currently sitting on a set of those shoulder pads awaiting a project for them...Im thinking CSM bodies, but not sure what kind of heads and weapons. SHould note this priject (like all of mine) arent for 40k, the are mostly for fun, but may get used with the Warengine game system.

That's true, there is still plenty left to mine... Jetbikes and Pre-heresy Termies would be awesome too.

@Polonius, I am not sure about older fluff, but the FF artwork certainly shows a few of them (unless I am badly mistaken, can anyone verify?)

@Kan, you are right, Thunderhawks and everything up to Mk7 armor are heresy era stuff... but pre-heresy? I believe Mk5, 6 and 7 were invented during the heresy, and I also believe the newer versions of the vehicles were either during or quite a ways after the heresy? Again, cheaper materials, less tech? Anyhow, I think you know what I mean by PH, I simply mean updates of olf RT and 2nd edition models.

My wishlist from FW?

New fluff Thunder Warriors... I always wondered why they weren't with the other PH armors, but with the new fluff, it is starting to make sense!

PH Terms, but something more in line with the RT era models, but updated of course. I find the current fluff PH terms could be done with new shoulder pads and GK helmets... I would prefer something more unique, like the MK5 looking PH Termy armor the Carcharodon IC wears

Legio Cybernetica. I love what they did with the contemptor, would love more big bots!

PH Landspeeder and PH jetbikes.

Non-marine? I think Mechanicus/Mechanicum would be truly epic from them!

The problem is, I'm not sure what is 'official' anymore!

The HH 'Collected Visions' book seems to have defined that, for now.

So... the MK0/Praetorian seem to be the leading candidate for what we'll be getting from FW in terms of Crusade/Heresy Era Terminators.

And that's OK by me!

I'd be ok with Dark Mechanicus. Like the Fimir, but it doesn't give me the impression that he's a caster.

Also hoping for more of the Elemental Incarnations (especially Death, Shadow and Metal)

Ok. There are no rules for Fimir Warriors anywhere that I know of (yet).

I was hoping for a model for the Fimir Caster from Storm of Magic.

Edit: and a Zoat.
