Grand Strategy can only be given to some units in the GK book, so even if you played doubles with BA it wouldnt matter.

Even if they could count as a scoring unit, it'd be awfully difficult to keep them within 3" of the objective, thanks to the Rage USR.

Small point about the original topic here. If a dread with blood talons loses one to a weapon destroyed result you no longer get to generate extra attacks with them. Just FY!.
